Obsolete Philips Halogen Lamp
Excellent customer service. I required lamps of a particular specification for use in a scientific instrument. The lamps proved to be obsolete. The lady from customer service took the time and effort to research other brands for me and confirmed they did not meet requirements. She telephoned later the same day to say she had found some of the Philips lamps with one of their suppliers, claiming she didn't like to be beaten. This is customer service at its best bearing in mind it was for a small order value. It gets better still, because the order was placed on Friday morning and the lamps delivered before 10:30am on Monday.
Would not hesitate to order from SLC again.

Oram changed the bulb spec without notice. Specialist Lighting Company were very helpful in locating the new replacement 'Compact " type bulbs.
UK Hasselblad-Broncolor agents charge in the region of £25 for the very same bulb.
