Pigeon Lamp

I had wanted a pigeon lamp, designed by Ed Carpenter, for years. When I got married we put one on our list and I have to say I am delighted with it! I got the pink version. The size is perfect - it's the size of a real pigeon. The plastic cover is only one sided (flat on one side), so that it can sit flat against a wall. The lamp comes with a wooden peg and clip to attach it to the wall, you simply drill a hole in the wall and fix the screw, then clip the lamp to the wall. The plastic cover is a little flimsier than I imaged, but once fixed it looks great and provides a nice quality of light. This lamp doesn't give enough light to read by and it should not be used as the main light source in a room, but it's perfect as a night light or to use in kids bedrooms. I love it!
