Micromark Twilight 66 15mm LED KIT

As others, I have now bought 30+ Micromark LED Decking Lights and every single one has failed over time. I did discuss this with someone a Micromark in Liverpool a couple of years ago and they stated that they had had a "bad batch" and replaced them. All of the replacements have now failed due to water ingress.

AVOID these they are not fit for purpose.

Installed these x 12 lights in our deck, same issues as everyone else, the get water in to them and the LEDs fail. Also bought the kit of 10 plus extras and the actual light colour varied, ie some were white white light, some were yellowish and some where blue, looks crappy.

Do not buy these products!! I purchased 20 LED white 70MM decking lights and shortly after installing them onto the decking, found some of the LEDS to have failed. Over a few months others did the same until evenctually, I contacted the company I bought them from who kindly offered to replace them. So, Up came the decking (which is a real pain) and replaced them. Within 3 Months the same thing happened again, so the retailer very kindly replaced them again. When installing the THIRD lot, I chose to seal the glass with silicon and did the same around the welded joints. Behold! These have now gone the same way! This company seem to be the only ones on the market that Sell 70MM lights, so, If I take them up, I either have to buy from them again, OR, I have to replace all the decking boards so they do not have holes in them - all at my own time and cost. Whilst these were the least expensive on the market, there is little point buying them with this fault. This Product is not water tight hence the problems. Either sort it Micromark or stop selling them! Avid, Avoid, Avoid!

Installed 12 light 72mm lights into decking and within 2 months water was getting into the lights and various leds have gone off. 1 year on and all but 3 lights have leds working. Rubbish product !!!

I bought a 10 set of the 70mm lights. These lights were fine when first installed but like others here the have proved to be leaky and many of the LEDs have failed. I also went through two of the dawn to dusk sensors, both of which failed. I have tried contacting the Hong Kong manufacturers direct on a number of occasions but have not once received a reply. I suppose the moral of the story here is that you get what you pay for.

Installed blue Micromark Twilight LEDs into my decking a year ago and today more than half of them have up to 6 failed LEDS. Suspect poor sealing of the unit to be the problem. Recommend that you avoid these units and buy something more substancial. The effort of replacing the LEDs by far exceeds any savings you make in buying this product.

Similar problems to most other reviewers. Installed 12 lights in all into wooden sleepers about a year ago and now only 2 work. Would not buy again and would not recommend due to poor life span. Shame because when new they looked great and were easily installed. I noticed that the led lights themselves seemed to have water inside after a short time or maybe condensation. This is probably the main reason for failure. I wish I had seen reviews before purchasing. Be warned!

The Micromark Twilight 66 15mm LED KIT lights are great, but they all popped after i sprayed the deck with ronseal decking protector. So they are not really ideal for decking becuase if you every want to treat the decking they would have to be pulled out. very faffy. Also Micromark are no where to be found now the internet site has gone and customer service number is no longer available.

The Micromark Twilight 66 15mm LED KIT is not bad, I thought they were fine myself. But depends on how well you install them I guess. If you don't put heavy items on them, they should last forever. Mount them in with a little silicone!
