LumiLife GU10 LED Lights

I bought a load of these from ledhut.co.uk to replace my existing standard bulbs.

LED bulbs are really expensive, but in theory they will last about 10 years and safe you electricity, so I thought I'd take the plunge.

I was aware that they would not work with my existing dimmer switches so I took one to my local electricians office to test on his dimmer switches that he has set up for just this purpose.

Unfortunately the lumilife bulbs were really poor at dimming. They would only dim very slightly, compared to other bulbs by people like Osram that dimmed right down to off.

As such I've decided these bulbs just aren't good enough for dimming so I've returned them and will be replacing with decent quality bulbs.

I've also found out that LumiLife is LEDhuts own brand, which is why they push them so much.

All in all I wont be buying this brand of LED bulbs again
