It is always a bit of a chance taker buying from online retailers.

However, I took the chance and purchased a wall light from Easylighting.co.uk. When the light did not arrive after an adequate time lapse, I contacted the company. I was informed there was a delay as they were waiting for the item to come into stock. Nice of them to list it was out of stock on their website. Even nicer of them inform me of a delay by email as all the good sites would have done!

I had to wait for an electrician to come along and wire the light in. It was only then I found that one of the parts did not fit. I telephoned Easylighting immediately and asked if there was a solution, or perhaps it was a multi-fit part. Customer services said they would ascertain the information and call me with the answer. They did not. So, I emailed them two days later and said if there was no solution to the problem the part would have to be returned and could they, please, contact me to let me know. They did not.

This company, it appears, is only interested in moving stock, not with helping customers if there is a problem.

There are many lighting websites on the net and I would suggest people avoid this one for one which has a customer service which is willing to assist their customers, not just ignore them if there are any queries.
