ordered lights in january 2011 still haven't received them or a refund after nearly a year and hundreds of emails/ phone calls, promises of money back and it never happened.

They obviously have every intension to rip people off in first place.

i contacted philips the company whole make the massive brand product i ordered and they said DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

I have my own building company and i can honestly say this is the worst company i have dealt with over my last 25 years of trading.

Do not order from this company.Like so many others I ordered lights which I never received.Had to chase them all the way.No reply to emails,several phone calls to Stockport flooring who are the owners,nothing but lies,lies,lies !!!!!!!

Paypal got me my money back

Directlighting2u website is no longer trading on the internet. GOOD RIDDANCE TO THEM !!!!!!!!!!!

I placed an order with directlighting2u on 22nd February 2011 and am still waiting. I have emailed them and contacted them through their website with the details of the order asking where it is. Not only no reply but now their website is down 'for maintenance'. I am past the deadline for Paypal to take action through their Resolution Centre so I will have to keep on by myself. I am clearly not the only customer in this position and I just wish I had done some background checks first and read some the reviews. Avoid this company - they were only a few pence cheaper that the next nearest price anyway - so not worth the risk!

Buyer beware! directlighting2u are part of Stockport flooring and also trades on-line under directflooring2u. Bought a light from them, worst comms/customer service I have experienced from a retailer - had to chase them every step, was expected to wait 1-2 months for item to come into stock, it never came in and they never contacted me to tell me they couldnt get it, at two months they finally offered a refund, the refund never materialised, I chased them several times and no-one wanted to accept responsability for resolving the issue, after repeatedly calling I managed to get to speak to the manager (and on the 3 seperate occassions I did I got a conflicting story from him each time). The company never responded to emails and their online reolution order tracking tool rarely worked. At time of writing this 5 months have now passed and still no refund! It honestly feels like they blagged it for two months which coincidentally is the cut-off for paypal to be able to charge them back.
