Product Not The Best Considering Price.
We use several different makes of magnifying lamps in our workshop and this one disappoints. Lens has a lot of reflections from overhead lights that are not an issue to the same extent with other lamps we use in the same location. Magnification could be a touch greater for really detailed fine work. We have the LED version and the illumination is not as good as our other lamps which are fluorescent.
Having used the lamp for a year now I notice the joints in the lamp supports are not so good now resulting in a lamp that irritatingly drops from the position it is set at.
A similar review that I posted on Amazon resulted in a quite rude response from the seller suggesting I have a sight problem. So, not the best of products and a seller with attitude; a powerful combination to avoid I would say.
not "engineer's" - meant to write engineers.
Follow up to my post:
I skipped the lamp in the end as none of my engineer's would use it.
