Avoid If You Like Quality, Professionalism And Timeliness
Awful, I would avoid Space2 at all costs. This week, finally after 3 months has my order with Space2 been completed (if you can call it that). We ordered a number of wardrobes only for:
+ The delivery being cancelled the day before by the courier, apparently on instruction from Space2 because one of 20 + boxes was damaged.
+ Of what was then delivered, every wardrobe was damaged. However, we accepted a discount to keep two which were not significantly damaged and returned another.
+ After three subsequent 'new' wardrobes being delivered to replace the significantly damaged one, all of which were damaged, a refund was finally given for the wardrobe.
+ Waited about 2 months for delivery of two chest of drawers to find that some parts were not new (nail holes in the wood).
Communication with the 'customer service center' (which is actually just one person) is very difficult and it always seemed that the person that knew anything was either on holiday or just out of the office. Trying to phone is often impossible so email is generally the way to go. However, be warned Space2 have a tendency to reply at 4:59pm each day (they close at 5pm) so don't expect anything to happen quickly.
Oh and I must not forget to mention, if you request a refund after a certain time, it requires their director to approve it. Just hope that that one person isn't on holiday for 3 weeks when you want your refund!
I'm not a fan of Ikea but if you're expecting better quality from Space2, then forget it. All in all, we have been very disappointed and feel incredibly let down and I won't be so dismissive of the cheaper, better service & quality of other retailers.

A Beautiful New Bedroom
My lovely new bedroom has just been completed (job number B30758) - I am so pleased with it. My fitters were lovely and managed to do it on the hotest two days this year without complaint. They cleaned up afterwards even hoovering the staircase. Thank you. I shall be back for the next bedroom as soon as I can. Mrs Angela Archer
Poor Quality For Price, Poor Customer Service
Placed my order in feb, it's now June and I have yet to get my furniture delivered without problems. My furniture looks great, but 3/5 items of bedroom furniture (French Elagance range) were faulty. The wardrobe is particularly bad. With paint flaking off. The delivery drivers told me the furniture gets set to china for painting and that the temperature change when shipped back to a colder country makes the wood move and so the paint cracks. Wart from this the other items of furniture were painted ok, however had chunks or dribbled paint marks here and there. Not what you expect when you spend over £ 1500 on your bedroom furniture. I have had to chase several returns as the replacement items had not been properly quality checked. I have been promised calls from space 2 that the supplier will be in touch when their next bat he's come in. However this takes weeks longer than they estimate. I did get a small £50 refund for my trouble, although I asked for that. I have had 5 deliveries so far and I am still waiting on items. Hope to get them soon.
I will write another review when I get my furniture. ( hopefully this year)
If I get some kind of customer care from here on, I will let you know.

More Than Happy
AM extremely happy about the funiture I bought from here. I bought a chest of drawers which when it arrived is exactly the same as what the description says...its very sturdy and looks very nice, exactly what I was looking for. It arrived on the day they said it would and I even recieved a courteousy call to make sure I would be in at the time it arrived.
Will definately shop at Space2 again

My Friend Recommended Space2 To Me After She Bough
My friend recommended space2 to me after she bought wardrobes in the summer and I placed an order at the beginning of December for modular wardrobes and then the snow came, but my wardrobes arrived. I was very happy as when I phoned the customer service team to check to see if they were still able to deliver, they assurred me they could and they lived up to the promise. I found them excellent and I'm over the moon with the wardrobes, good quality and my husband found them easy to put together.
