I do not usually write reviews but felt compelled to do so on this occasion.

The table we have just taken delivery of,is without doubt, a thing of beauty. Great service and good communication from start to finish. Also a very attractive aftercare promise.

The size is perfect for our space. The quality is evident and all visitors have commented positively when they see it.

I have passed this company's details on to friends, who are also looking for a great dining room table.

I've just taken possession of a new American black walnut dining table and I'm absolutely delighted with it and the service I received. From the outset Oakwerke was incredibly helpful. Prior to placing my order he was happy to answer numerous emails that I'd sent and right up to taking delivery continued to keep in touch.

On delivery he not only carefully assembled the table but also took the time to explain its construction and advise me on how to care for it. The table is absolutely stunning and I'd definitely recommend Oakwerke to anyone considering buying a solid wood table.

I read the other review on this site, and I have to say my experience was completely the opposite. I asked for pictures quotes delivery, availability etc, and received prompt responses each time. Although I do get the impression this guy is very busy. I then placed an order for 170cm circular solid oak table - delivered on time at the correct price - quality and workmanship are to the highest standard - can't fault the service I had whatsoever, and would definately recomend and use again.

I spent a few months researching online to buy an oak kitchen table. I couldn't find the design I wanted and found OAKWERKE on eBay offering bespoke cabinet making. I aksed questions and had samples sent and then placed the order paying a deposit through Paypal. I thought I had done sufficient research. I waited for weeks with no contact and each time I tried to make contact (via e-mail as telephone is not answered) had to wait weeks for a reply. These replies varied from "I will be delivering on Friday" to "it's not quite finished" to "Christmas has arrived too quickly for me I'll deliver afterwards and waive the delivery costs".

After Christmas no contact and telephone not answered, emails not answered. I contacted my bank and was exceedingly lucky to be able to make a chargeback through them, as Paypal do not offer this proctection. I only just managed to get this sorted before the alloted cut off period.

This outfit is operating a cynical, opportunistic trap and I was lucky that I realised in time that I could get my money back. I am very concerned that others are being tricked in this way without any comeback.

ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS CHECK AND THEN CHECK AGAIN THAT YOUR PAYMENTS ARE PROTECTED.
