Mark Elliot Furniture - Hall Cabinet

I bought a sideboard and display cabinet in white oak. It,s very good,

very practicle.

Lot of MDF in it however.

I got over charged by accident, but it's been difficult getting my money back, has anyone else had a similar experience and what did they do

sometimes buying something made in the UK pays off. I bough a hall cabinet from a local company in Cambridge called Mark Elliot furniture. It didn't arrive next day as you would expect from Ikea and rest of the commodity market, but after 5 weeks the piece that did arrive was simply beautiful. Handmade, every joint and hinge was crafted by carpenters and not machines. Since then i have bough a farmhouse table and a set of chairs which were equally well made. This furniture will sure i'm be handed down to my grand kids in generations to come.
