Never Again.....we Ordered Slideboard From Dwell,

NEVER AGAIN.....we ordered slideboard from Dwell, The Bari four door in black. We waited two weeks for it come as it was out of stock. When it came it was nothing like the image and the quality was soooo poor it was no better than something out of the Argos book. Felt like the whole unit was going to fall apart and for £599 was a rip off. After 3 weeks of ringing Dwell they gave us a full refund.

On the other hand we ended getting a sideboard from www.Denelli.co.uk, which is only 5 miles down the road from Dwells store in Milton keynes, I ordered an Yoko High gloss Sideboard from Denelli Italia was a little bit more but the quality is out of this world it so heavy it took two men to get it into my living room.

i would say dwell is a no no..products look nice but are poor quality.

Dwell Customer Service Department Is Non-existent.

Dwell Customer Service department is non-existent. I ordered goods on 2nd October which showed as 'in stock'. I have now been told that not available until December, but money was taken from my account on the day goods were ordered. One item, a lamp, did arrive in an enormous box with no inner packaging and no instructions and RUSTY! It has been in my living room for two weeks as no one in store could help me and my phone calls and e-mails have been ignored at the customer service dept in Milton Keynes. Do not deal with this company, they are non trustworthy and money grabbing and do not deliver (goods or service). AVOID!

Delivery dept never contacted me. Ordered via bluewater store. Useless. 2 weeks after taking money they never contacted me once. Customer service dept does not exist!! It puts you through to a branch within uk!!Cancelled order through a store 300 miles away. Lets see if I get the money back!!

There Have Been So Many Problems With My Purchase

There have been so many problems with my purchase but the worst part is that thr"customer service" is none existent, thus it was an absolute battle to get them to sort out the problem.

Sales Staff And Customer Service A Bit Unresponsiv

Sales staff and customer service a bit unresponsive on the phone. They say everything will take 72 hours, which is quite a long time if you have a big furniture box sitting in your lounge room. I could not get a decision on them about pickups and whether they will refund you in full if the product is not what you expected. Experience was as follows, bought chairs at store after really nice sales rep showed on the screen that chair was cream and the one in store was "taupe". The description was "cream" on the catalogue. Chair came and was brownish green even though the box said it was "natural". They then argued that it was in fact cream and that since the product code was as cream, the product had to be cream. I think not. Took pictures and had more arguments with them about the colour given everything in the lounge room was beige and creame, being brownish green was quite weird. I think we would know what cream is supposed to look like.Then came arguments how whether Dwell would then charge me £30 for pickup of something that was so obviously not quite right. Refund is not done yet. Not happy and would not recommend to anyone.

I Recently Bought The Oslo Sofa From The Islington

I recently bought the oslo sofa from the islington branch. It was delivered very quickly but to our horror the legs were not attached. The staff who sold the item and the website failed to mention this at all. Anyway the delivery guys kindly mentioned that it would take 5 minutes using a screwdriver.Little did I realise that there are no predrilled holes. In essence you need a power tool to get them in. I immediately informed dwell of my dissatisfaction. The customer services manager was never around . I have now informed trading standards who are taking up the matter.So in conclusion I would now not want to spend a penny in that place!

I Ordered My Sofa On Thursday, And It Arrived On S

I ordered my sofa on Thursday, and it arrived on Saturday. It was tough putting the legs on, and I had 2 pretty bad blisters to show for it. Instructions would've been fab. Delivery was prompt, and I even had a phone call from Dwell furniture 40 minutes prior to delivery to let me know it would be arriving.

After I'd set it up - I noticed a small tear in the bodywork - cosmetic but a tear nonetheless. At £500, I thought I'd at least raise it with Dwell.

They asked me to send a photo in, and they gave me 30% off.

I'm sorry to read about all the bad experiences people have had - I definitely don't work for them btw - I went to the Balham store to try, but I ordered over the phone. The sofa is the comfiest I've ever had. We're getting a cat soon - I hope she doesn't wreck it...

I found this review very helpful because...it creates an unbiased review. Review sites have to be taken wti ha pinch of salt as its always the bitter nasty people who complain about everything that want to comment! It's nice to see a positive review, i also bought a sofa (the Baltic in cream - bad colour choice??? We will see, it looks fab whilst its still clean though!) and has to assemble the legs but i have a power screwdriver which got them on in 10 mins flat.

I Recommend That You Do Not Buy Anything From Dwel

I recommend that you do not buy anything from Dwell. I am still waiting for parts that never arrived for a unit 6 weeks after I notified them that all of the parts had not been delivered. The "customer service" I have received from Dwell has been non-existant and I would never use Dwell again.

Nice Looking Furniture And I Was 'promised' By Sta

Nice looking furniture and I was 'promised' by staff of Dwell in the Balham store that the sofa would arrive on 10 November. Called on 8th to find out where sofa is and was told it will arrive on 31st December and nothing they can do to get it here earlier. The staff are happy to give you their name and their word but it isn't helpful.

Highly unreliable! Avoid!
