Unilever Please Bring Back Persil Washing Up Liquid
Persil Washing up liquid was a dish soap product made by Unilever until 2009 when it was discontinued with remaining stock exhausted in mid-2010.
From 2011 onwards it has been made by R Mcbride who make all the supermarket label cleaning products, its actually a monopoly when it comes to own brand.
In 2020 R Mcbride told me there was to be no more Persil Washing up liquid, the company also sold Persil branded dishwasher products, if you saw/see these they aren't Unilevers
The product made by R Mcbride is now using the Surf brand, so you'll see Surf Washing up liquid in stores under licence to Unilever.
Many people want more choice because all you'll find in stores is Fairy made by Procter & Gamble, they have more money and resources to kick out R Mcbrides Persil product unlike Unilever who were able to keep it the product in mainstream supermarkets and shops.
There is now more demand for hand Washing up liquid with many people going green and the cost of living crisis, the amount of water electricity used plus the cost of that and the cost of dishwasher products including products to maintain the machines is just not worth it, so there is the business case for Unilever to relaunch its Washing up products.
Unilever used to have 3 products in the UK. Persil,Sunlight and Sqezy now there is none, in other countries Unilever makes Cif Washing up liquid, so please bring back one of them, preferably the Persil one which you used to make.

We Tend To Use Fairy Liquid In Our Household. But
We tend to use Fairy liquid in our household. But started getting disappointed with how long it lasted. So we pulled Persil Washing up liquid off the shelf to give it a try.I think we've given up on this product before finishing the bottle. It's funny that they have not written anywhere on the bottle that it's good for dishes. They talk quite a bit about how nice it is for your hands, but that's it.I will however say that we have switched from Ariel to Persil Small and Mighty for our laundry. It's the best thing we ever tried.
