This carpet washer which looks great and seems to promise a professional spring clean with a minimum of fuss is in a word, rubbish.

It does not wash your carpets, it does not have an agitating or rotating brush of any sort, there is a static brush, it wets the carpet in thin lines then does an inadequate job of sucking up the excess liquid.

Your carpet may be marginally cleaner than when you started (disputable)

but it will NOT wash them. Do not be taken in by what it says on the tin and the technical looking casing. It is full of poor design features such as not being able lay the water tank on the work top to fill it as it leaks, you can't clean the machine properly and according to Vax themselves its an entry level carpet washer, although nothing on the box or machine tells you that.

You would do better to give the carpet a superficial wipe with a soapy cloth. It's an overpriced pile of plastic.
