This guy carried out a rushed and unprofessional job and has left the beautiful Victorian floor tiles in such a poor condition that another professionally trained Victorian Floor Restoration company have stated that, “they have never come across this type of floor which has been so badly damaged due the the negligence of a previous contractor”. Their opinion is that the contractor was negligent carrying out a rushed job using the wrong equipment. They state that, “their roughest diamond burnishing pads would not cause the scratching to the tiles and the the floor was not sealed properly, it being sealed whilst still wet which is evident on the cloudy areas”. Some patches have not not been sealed at all. He stated he would take 3 days to carry out the work, but did no more than 7 hours and failed to return to compete the job. It will cost the best part of £2000 now to get the tiles repaired. Avoid this company unless its only a carpet you need cleaned.
