Carpet fitter turned up with his ten year old son! Carpet fitter directed my fiancé to help carry the carpet from the van to the bedroom! Appalling service when we have paid for this. Raised complaint with the owner and he dismisssd the complaint which was even more disappointing.

Just had Wakefield Carpet Specialists Ltd fit my basement and stairs carpets. Fantastic job once again. They've previously fitted our Bedroom, Hallway and Dining Room.

We needed a special carpet suitable for under floor heating (had to have a low tog rating to allow heat through). Went around several carpet companies and they didn't have a clue. One said that all their carpets were suitable, another said he would ring head office and came back still confused. When we went to Wakefield Carpet Specialist's showroom, they knew immediately what I was talking about and took us across the showroom to show us a selection of carpets of the type we needed and without losing out on quality, infact we were so pleased with the quality we had it fitted elsewhere in the house.

This time, the basement was going to have a dual use; part study and part Gym. They asked us what type of gym equipment we were thinking of having and once we told them, they warned us away from (a more expensive) type of carpet explaining how it wouldn't wear as well as other types. They gave us a swatch of carpets to take home with us to double check colours.

Fitters arrived this morning, on time and 2 and a half hours later, the basement is transformed.
