Bought a chair mat for my laminate floor and it works perfectly. The old one I had didn't last to long and began to break after a month or so of use. I have been using this for almost five months and haven't had any problems what so ever. The delivery arrived in good time and I really can't complain one bit. Thanks.

Money taken, no product after 6 weeks despite the order dashboard reporting order complete and shipped. Constantly fobbed off with poor excuses for not receiving my order. If only the service was as swift as the money is taken!

www.floormats.co.uk is the company - they sell Dirt Trapper mats. My mat lasted less than 8 weeks , when I complained they said it was normal wear and tear and were sorry they could do nothing to help. I quoted the Sale of Goods Act and they have never replied despite many emails.

The mat fabric just peels away from the base - very shoddy and a total waste of money. I sent them photographic evidence , but just got ignored.

Do not buy from this company you will waste your money. I replaced the mats from another local company and these are fine.

I usually don’t write any reviews on products or online shops unless I think I can really contribute something useful. In this case I doubt that the reviews that have been written on this online shop reflect the truth. In fact, my experience was completely different. I bought several chair mats from this site for my new home. The site made it really easy to find the right size and it was the only online shop I found offering the size and design I liked. I decided to give it a go despite the negative feedback here on Review Centre. I needed to be careful about what and from whom I was buying (I have expensive cork flooring) and when I called to make sure I was buying the right ones, customer service was excellent. I liked the fact that they accepted Paypal as it’s my favourite way to buy online. They were shipped quickly, and even when one of them had minor damage, customer service was quick to respond by email and replaced it without any hassle.

Living in south London I decided to go directly to this Floor Mats UK warehouse in late 2010. The area has no business premises only rows of rundown houses that have been converted into flats. The address displayed on the website does not exist as there are no business premises in that area. There were a few derelict garages to the side and rear of the supposed address. I can only assume that some rip off merchant is running the impressive website from one of the dingy one bedroom flats in the area. In short stay well clear, if you can't take my word for it feel free to look the area up through Google earth.

I placed an order for a mat on 22nd December 2011.

I received an acknowledgement of the order promptly.

On 30th. Dec. Paypal showed that the payment had been

withdrawn from my account.

By 2nd Jan I had no information about delivery and sent

the following email

a robot. Left my number it is now 10th Jan and I

still have not had a response.

Thank you for your message. According to my information your order has been dispatched and I have not heard anything from the courier company to indicate that there might be a problem.

I will however look into the status of your order and I will be in touch again once I know more. Please accept our apologies for the delay, which is most likely due to the Christmas and New Year bank holidays.

I have emailed daily complaining about none delivery and asking

for my money back but have had no response.

It is now 10th Jan. 2012 with no response, no refund and no delivery.

DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY!! You are led to believe you are dealing with a UK company (clue is in the name..) , however when I attempted to return item - as colour not at all as described (cheetah style black spots on dark brown background described as "brown two-tone" YUK!) - I was told that I would have to send back to Germany at my own cost. When I took to post office I was quoted £37 or £52 if you wanted a signature!! At no point - when you order, is there any warning or indication that you will have to return item to Germany and bear the cost! They try to rely on a vague reference in t&c's saying "Products are often dispatched from Germany and need to be returned to the warehouse they were dispatched from" - however there is no indication to what items this refers to? so not legally binding. Therefore I returned the rug to the UK address as appears on their website, (which still cost me £14.25). It has been delivered and signed for via Parcel force - but Floor mats UK are denying all knowledge of receiving. So basically a scam to ensure you don't attempt to return items. Thoroughly ripped off!
