Slippery
I purchased these tiles for a Scout Hall floor. We have found them to be very slippery when even slightly wet or if it's in the slightest bit humid. We have children falling all over the place and we are now considering taking them out due to the probability of injury . We have cleaned the floor properly, but this seems to have no effect. When dry this is a first class floor and I don't have any complaints.
I contacted Eco tiles only to be told that I should check the kind of shoes the kids were wearing, not exactly helpful.
ecotile has an R10 slip rating which is what the HSE recommed as suitable for wet areas, kitchens factories etc. From the website you will see that the tiles are used in some very heavy duty, dirty, oily and wet applications and work brilliantly. We tried to help this customer and advise him how he should clean the floor but our attempt to help was ignored. Using an entrance matting to try and avoid as much water and dirt getting onto the floor in the first place and then a proper cleaning regime will keep ecotile safe and looking good

I would like to offer my thanks to you and the installers for the time and effort put into the job. I know it was difficult for everyone involved and proved to be a much bigger job than anticipated.
I also very much appreciated the approach and attitude of the installation team. They did everything asked of them and nothing was too much trouble.
