My Wife and I bought two Sunlover Accents Black Roller Blinds from this company. Sadly, my experience is in line with the others on this site. I went to install the blinds and noticed that one of them was cut too short. I contacted customer services and told them they had cut my blind too short and gave them the measurements I had supplied and the measurements they had cut the blind to. The girl on the phone initially admitted it was too short but, on 'consulting with her supervisor' decided she had made a mistake. The blind is too short and I had to fabricate a plastic spacer to make it fit! Having managed to fit both blinds we opened them and noticed that the trimmed edge was far from straight and is now showing signs of fraying!. To cap it all off the pull cord on one of the blinds has since snapped, necessitating the purchase of chain connectors. You buy from these people at your peril!!

I ordered a blackout blind to fit a recess. Delivery took 10 days and not next day as per website, their excuse was that they'd had a big order to deal with! Hmmm. On arrival found it was cut too short. Their customer care line seems to have a permanent recorded message "your call is important to us etc" but is never answered. So always dealt with them by email. They wanted me to send photos of the blind against a tape measure, which I did. But this blind was nearly 2m long, what use a photo could be escapes me after all they know what their blinds look like but it just delayed the inevitable process by a week or so.

They then argued there was nothing wrong with it despite the simple maths proving otherwise. They finally offered a 25% discount if I bought a replacement! I then demanded they collect it and refund, which they ignored. I had to use the small claims court procedure which finally resolved it. I received a cheque from them which included the court fee but no apology, explanation or details when they would collect it.

This was appalling customer service. Avoid this company.

The roller blind arrived in good time, however when unfurled I discovered a grubby mark, which I chose to ignore. When it came to actually use the thing, I discovered the control chain kept jumping the cog, meaning I have to regularly physically wrench the chain in order for it to actually work. Pay a few quid more and get a better class of blind.

We bought this at the same time as a wooden blind from WoodenBlindsDirect that seems to be part of the same company but using a different site.

As with the wooden blind this is obviously Cut To Size from a stock blind rather than Made To Measure as described.

The stitching at the bottom of the blind is very messy and the needle used so large that daylight can be seen through the holes.

The fittings are very cheap and shoddy and the bracket for the fixed end of the blind has a different shaped slot to the locating lug. The side of it is open and therefore the installation looks unfinished. A pelmet would be needed to make it tidy.

Their customer service is the usual "read from a script" stuff and e-mails have gone unanswered.

They refuse to refund because of their T&C for Made To Measure items - they are finally replacing the blind but I will probably sell it as it looks cheap and nasty - not worth over £40 paid.
