We have just had two sets of curtains made for our living and Dining room and we couldn't be happier with them,the curtains have been made beautifully. They have transformed the rooms!

After looking high and low for the perfect fabric, we found it in Ferans. They have lots to choose from and will discuss all options with you.

The service was excellent, Geoff and the team are fab, they are so helpful and know their stuff!!

This firm have supplied our blinds for the entire house over a number of years. The quality of the before and after-service has been second to none.The advice given by Daniel as to the type of blind to have has been borne out with the finished, fitted product.Perfect! The blinds themselves have been unique in their style, transformed our property visually from both within and outside the house.

Visitors have made favourable comments and wanting to know details of the supplier. The price has been competitive and we feel we have had good value for money.

I initially used Feran Fabrics when I decided to decorate my dining room. With so many fabrics to choose from I really did not know where to start. After discussing with Dan (the manager) the type of look I was going for, he provided me with some samples of wallpaper and materials for curtains to get the ball rolling. He really understood what I was after (and was very patient) so much so that I eventually chose one of the samples he first suggested - and I love it!!!

The curtains are made to a very high standard and I am very pleased with them. Previously I have used Laura Ashley and you can really tell the difference in quality and finish of the Feran handmade curtains.

I have been so happy with the Feran service, that I have recently used them to decorate two of my bedrooms. Delighted again with the customer service and overall finish of both rooms. I look forward to using them again when I decorate more rooms and recommend highly!

After buying a new house my wife and I were at a loss on how we could put our stamp on it. It seemed like such an important thing to get right if we were going to spend our hard earned on something other than ready mades. Our/my lack of direction was spotted straight away and after a chat about what we like and so on we took some samples home. Still struggling with an agreement between the wife and I, we received a follow up call on the samples and were forced to admit that we were unable to make a decision as to what we wanted the end result to look like. Dan said that we were on his way home and so a couple of nights latter we arranged for him to come round and have a look at what the house was needing. he came with more sample books and some wall paper designs and talked through with us what he thought would give us the look we were after. By the end of the week, we had decided on the curtains/shutters/blinds and decoration for the whole down stairs and we are very happy. This has now led to helping us make a decision for the new furniture and flooring we have ordered and can't wait for the finished article. May have to leave it a while before we tackle upstairs but then again no one goes up there other than us, so a room at a time I think. Not just great curtains/shutters but great advice too.

After having taken a long time to decide on curtains, fabric and makers we decided to use Ferans as they were initially very helpful. BIG mistake!!!!!! The curtain arrived after waiting weeks upon weeks but we were happy to wait as quality is important, we had the poles fitted with bits missing, this was rectified pretty quickly. The curtains arrived and we noticed puckering along the seams...we waited aprrox 6 months as thought the weight of the curtains would pull this out. Nope..so they came took them away and we were told they would be re stitched....nope..they were pressed! when they were returned to us after 3 weeks (3 weeks to run an iron over!??!) they were shrunk around the eyelets. So we had a 'home visit' from the the team at the shop who told us yes they had been shrunk whilst being pressed and that they would send one of the curtais back to the material manufacturer. 6 weeks later I received a letter from the shop saying there was nothing wrong with the curtains (even though they had admitted they had been shrunk!!!) and that they were going to returned to us.

On receiving this letter I rang the shop immediately and was told the curtain worth over £500 was being sent via the post?? Are you crazy?? I could've come to collect should I have been notified. I am now seeking legal advise on this situation as I have been now refused my money back and left with a set of curtains which look rubbish..and even worse than when we first received them!!

Do not waste your money in this shop...go the Wenlocks in Maldon for good service and good curtains, I wish I had.

Brilliant service, fabulous advice and the friendliets staff you could wich for. On top of all that a fabulous end product and hanging service.

Would reccomend them whole heartedly to professional and domestic clients alike.

Just had my custom made Roman blinds and bedroom curtains fitted by Feran yesterday. I'm so pleased with the results, everything looks great and my rooms now look like something out of an interiors magazine!

Can't fault the service at the shop in Chelmsford and they have loads of books and samples from different manufacturers. Curtains took a bit longer than quoted but I think there were deliveries held up in the snow before xmas, and I was kept informed. It's a family business so the people you deal with care about getting things right

Very good sales service and recommendation of fabrics and blinds. However, poor quality of fitting and customer service once payment was made.

The curtain rail was bent when installed, the voile do not fit the window and pelmet was loosely installed and slanted. It was not sufficient to hold the weight of both my curtain and blind. Thought the voile and bent curtain rail were rectified with delays, but it would have been good to receive a word of apology. I had to get another company to rectify the problem with the pelmet.

GREAT FAMILY BUSINESS, WE ORDERED ALL OUR NEW BLINDS FROM FERAN IN CHELMSFORD IT WAS WORTH THE DRIVE FOR US AS WE FELT WE RECEIVED A GREAT PERSONAL SERVICE.

THE FITTERS WERE BRILLIANT AND THE HOUSE HAS BEEN TRANSFORMED.

We have had loads of jobs in the house and are reviewing all the good companies we have used, well Feran are experts in their own field, we used them as we have just had two new bedrooms put in, they provided us with matching wallpaper,curtains and bed coverings, this place is fantastic it stocks some really good quality stuff.

They made everything to measure for us the staff in that shop or shall I call it boutique are real designers.

Overall nice people, local to, us saves going up london,and Danny the owner is always at hand to help.
