This Man Is A Crook And A Theif. We Ordered A Bed

This man is a crook and a theif. We ordered a bed and didn't hear for 4 weeks. I eventually found a phone number and rang him to enquire about delivery. He fobbed me off with excuses and promised to call me back. After chasing him 5 times he eventually confirmed delivery date. I took the day off work and when it got to lunch time I phoned him to ask where it was.

He said it was on the way and told me who the couriers were. I phoned them and they had never heard of me or the Good Bed Company. After numerous phone calls he finally refunded our credit card after we threatened to report him the police. It seems we were lucky compare to other peoples experiences!! DO NOT USE THIS CROOK!!! He is scum taking money off people who can't afford it.

Please don't buy anything from this man. When the bed I ordered arrived damaged I cancelled the order and was told a full refund would be made. Several phones were subsequently made and each time an excuse and a promise of a refund was given, Then the phone number did not accept incoming calls. I then found from this website that he has done this to others and has often gone bankrupt and then started off another business under a different name. Fortunately my credit card company refunded me the money. THE MAN IS A CROOK!

Update. I used a Visa debit card and eventualy contacted my bank, they put me through to Visa Disputes. I got card refunded within a week. I would urge anyone still waiting for refund to do the same.

Update To A Previous Review About Folding Bed Orde

Update to a previous review about folding bed orderd, money taken immediately then impossible task of contacting them.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! DO NOT BELIEVE THEY HAVE GONE INTO ADMINISTRATION WHEN YOU DON'T GET YOUR GOODS - the email they sent me was forward-dated to 11th JULY 2011 and we are only in March!!

My bank's Fraud Department is in the process of getting my money back thank goodness. The bank told me they are dealing with many customers who purchased from this rogue company.

If you have fallen into the trap but used a credit card, contact your bank immediately to cancel this transaction. I stupidly used a debit card and only checked the reviews afterwards.

I have written to Watchdog and urge anyone else who has been stung by these crooks to do the same.

DONOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!

I bought a bed from Ian 3 months ago and when it arrived it was faulty.I was fobbed off with endless excuses and eventually promised £25 compensation AND A TUBE OF GLUE to fix the problem myself...both of which have never arrived. Now the owner Ian is ignoring my emails and has even changed his phone service so that he does nt have to take phone calls.Obviously he is inundated with complaints and cannot be bothered to sort it....he just wants to take your money but not provide a decent service!!!

Bought a trundle from this company for 129.00, the castors broke on it straight away, emailed so many times before I got a reply. Ian called me to arrange a replacement - took forever to get it and again the castors broke, he then promised a refund, didnt get it he obviously knew the company was in trouble!!! - load of rubbish.... In total I have sent 25 emails FAO Ian.

What a waste of time!!

Have written a review previously. Just to advise that I have received letter about company being insolvent. Website stil is up an running. My worry is that the director, Ian Bland has other companies (see www.babychuckles.co.uk and also Hotpoint Outlet advertised via Amazon), and so this person is expert at conning people. I have just phoned Consumer Direct and because The Good Bed Company is a limited company and other companies are separate there is nothing they are able to advise.

They Took Our Money For Our Childrens Bunk Beds Wi

They took our money for our childrens bunk beds within 24 hours of placing the order, after numerous calls and emails to them I realised there wasn't going to be any bunk bed, I read the reviews on this site and realised my mistake, I have since chased the good bed company around the various contacts I could find...the Directors name is Ian Bland by the way, and nothing. I called Julian Bowen the compnay that makes the beds, they were very helpful and sent a letter to me explaining that an order had been placed with them, but they hadn't been paid, and in fact the good bed company account with them is on stop. The Good Bed Company are just taking our money with no intention of supplying the goods, I think there is a word for that....I will be writing to Watchdog, Trading Standards and if possible taking him to the small claims court...because unless I am proven otherwise and a bunk bed comes miraculously to my door in the next few days...they are quite honestly crooks.

Really Really Gutted, Had No Idea That This Compan

Really really gutted, had no idea that this company had gone bust!! until i have just looked on the reviews. I purchased a kids cosmic bunk bed at £447.00 from this company on the 7th Feb. On the 9th Feb got one email from Ian Bland saying the bunkbed was out of stock and will be with me in 2 weeks after that i got nothing!!!!! I have emailed 4 times and have a mobile & landline number for this guy, who is might i say still trading and still taking orders!!!!!!!! I have now had to contact my bank to try & get this money back & will also add this money was given to my 8 year old son who so much wanted these bunks by my dying grandad who has now passed and wanted to give my son a present to remember him by! I can't believe it how do you explain to an 8 year old there is no bunkbeds! kirstie

Dont Use, Got An Email After Making A P

DONT USE,

Got an email after making a purchase on the 25th of feb ,no contact from comapany until today, stating that they have went into liquidationand unable to deliverymygoods or refund them

the company are still allowing orders to go through online... ian bland is the director,ive been trying to call him with no such luck
