Best Mattress Ever!
I bought this mattress back in 2011, best purchase of my life.
Me and my partner are moving house and although we don't need a new mattress as its kept amazingly, we thought we'd see about getting the same mattress new for our new house..
Devastated is my only words that they have discount inured this mattress!!!
I would pay good money for another of these!

I couldn't really find any useful reviews of this mattress online so having bought one I thought it only fair that I review it for other potential buyers.
I tried lots of mattresses at Bensons for Beds (Sleepmasters). I wanted a medium/firm one due to having an iffy back. My requirements to the assistant was that I wanted a mattress that felt like a hotel one. (a good hotel that is!), having just stayed in several the month before and had sound sleeps in nearly all of them.
Eventually I came across the Sealy Pocket Latex 2000 and instantly felt the comfort and support the second I laid on it. Obviously the 10 seconds you get to awkwardly lay on it in the shop doesnt say how it will feel after a night sleep but on first impressions, it was a comfy mattress.
Its not cheap, I paid around £500 for it but given that you spend a third of your day on the thing, a worthy investment if you get a good nights sleep.
Its called the Latex 2000, A, because it has a built in latex topper, and B Because it has 2000 springs, although, not all 2000 are pocket springs. 650 in a 'response spring system' (whatever that is) that distributes weight away from the heaviest part of the body and another layer of 1360 pocket springs.
I tried several cheaper ones, including memory foam, and straight pocket spring ones, but none had quite the feel as this one.
The mattress feels luxurious, and has given me some very sounds nights sleep without a hint of back pain when Ive woken up.
You cant turn the mattress because the latex is only on one side, but it is encouraged to rotate it top to bottom every few weeks. Just as well as the things weighs a tonne, reassuringly.
I got mine from Bensons for Beds at Birstall, Leeds. The customer service was very good, and an easy purchasing process. That and the Bellagio bed I bought at the same time (also an excellent product) were delivered on time within 3 weeks. The delivery guys even carried everything up 2 flights to my bedroom.
So all in all, a recommended purchase. I would recommend the mattress, bed and shop to my friends.
My husband and I bought the same Sealy mattress in good faith, as being a well known recognised company. Unfortunately we found the mattress had started to sag after a couple of months and does not retain it's shape. We did follow instructions to turn the mattress round (not flip) , but it has made no difference. We are by no means heavy weights, and it has become so uncomfortable we use the bed in the spare room. Iv'e been scouring the net to find UK reviews, but have only found a load of US reviews, with the same complaint. It's the first time on changing our mattress, we have ever had a problem and funnily enough it's the first time we have purchased a Sealy mattress. We have complained, but don't hold out much hope for a satisfactory outcome, basically it's over £600 down the drain...
Hi thanks so much for your review, i tried laying on the one bensons, it was advertised as a 3 a medium firm but on the website it is a 2 ie medium mattress, does the latex make you hot at all? ive tried memory foam in the past and its like laying in an oven, unbearable. thanks for post though, no reviews on this mattress anywhere which surprised me.
