Relyon 6th Sense Memory Foam Mattress

I bought a five foot 6th sense mattress in late 2012, paid £650. I'm only eight and half stone but the topper soon sunk and I could not get it back into shape. Having slept on a Tempur mattress I expected the memory foam to spring back, it doesn't. The fabric on the topper has split in several places, the cover is not even as strong as my bed sheets. I've taken it off the bed and am far more comfortable on the base mattress. To recycle the cotton cover I decided to remove the foam from the split cover, and discovered the memory foam is not a single sheet, it's memory foam that has been chopped up and compacted (possibly reject quality) - like recycling broken meringue into Eton Mess. It's matted together so could never have bounced back, not even if I had been able to lift it off to give it a shake. The foam has formed square shaped lumps in some places, having split away from the quilted squares. I feel that I was mis-sold this product, and had I known what I know now I would never have bought it.

Never again!

I reported issues with this bed (Caress 6ft version with memory foam topper) to the shop where it was purchased who came in to undertake an inspection so that they can report back to Relyon. The respose is an absolute joke - we are supposed to turn a 6ft mattress the delivery men struggled to move and to shake a memory foam topper!

I know from other peoples experience that Reylon are particulary poor with customer service so I wasn't expecting much but to have such a ridiculous reponse was a surprise - particularly as we'd previously been told that due to the memory foam, this would never need turning.

Buy a Relyon mattress by all means but expect to be treated with contempt if you have to complain about it. Their 5 year guarantee is meaningless.

So so so comfortable, the memory foam certainly feels as though you sink into the mattress. This mattress does not make me too warm although it is winter time. This mattress is very very thick it may even look to big for my bed frame so please take note of this if you are considering buying this mattress hence the reason i have took a star from the overall rating. The sixth sense mattress looks like and is a great quality mattress and only cost me £250 for a new one inc delivery from ebay as these mattresses retail for about £650 and I no longer awaken with pain in my body thanks to this mattress only problem i'm having is getting out of my bed in the morning and i cant get to my bed quick enough at night.... 10 out of 10 for comfort. I bought this super king size bed and after 2 months it sunk in the middle, it took 8 weeks for the company to replace it informing me that they had to make another one hence the amount of time,when the replacement came it looked great but after aprox 4/6 weeks the same thing is happening My husband and I feel like we are sleeping in a hammock that has cost £2350

The company that we have bought it from is now refusing to do anything about it and claiming that we have bought the wrong sort of bed to suit our needs???

Please if there is anyone considering buying this type/make of bed DON'T It appears to me that it has an inherent fault in design.. I was given sales pitch about it being tested in USA and it had great reviews, wish I had done my homework a bit better but felt that spending that much money would guarantee me a good nights sleep.. I would be very interested if anyone else has had this problem I am not over weight
