Beware the Bed Post & Myers Sceptre Mattress

I've had two Myers Sceptre mattresses supplied by The Bed Post, Petts Wood branch, as a replacemnet of a defective mattress of another make that had to be replaced, both turned out to be faulty. The manager of the Bed Post refused to believe the first one wasn't right and came to inspect it and had to admit the there was hardly any padding in it. The second one came a few days later, exactly the same. They offered me the shop mattress, I looked again at it and though there was padding it's a extremely cheap and nasty mattress that I would not be able to recommend.

I did speak to the Myers customer service people because they make a thing about having a 12 year guarantee. Indifference would be the best way to describe their response and it turns out that unless the company you bought a Myers product goes out of business they're not going to honour that guarantee with you anyway.
