Mattressland disregarded my chosen delivery date and attempted delivery twice prematurely including leaving the mattress with a neighbour which I had not consented to. Upon cancelling my order, they have informed me that I would be liable to a £40 warehouse fee. They have conveniently overlooked the fact that the issues were created by their disregarding of the initial specified delivery date. Very poor service all round.

I ordered and paid for a mattress in December 2014; it is now March 2015. It was not delivered the next day. In fact, I never received the mattress and the firm has ignored all my requests for a refund. I have spoken to them on the phone and emailed them several times but still no refund. I will now have to try to recover my payment through the courts unless I hear from them in the next few days following my latest attempt to contact them

I ordered a Beasley 3ft Posture Pocket 1000 mattress and it arrived quickly - way before the other suppliers that I have used in the past. The website was easy to use and customer service was prompt in answering all my questions.

I also got a text in the morning confirming that the mattress was out for delivery along with a more specific delivery slot so that was very helpful as I'm so busy in the run up to Christmas.

The mattress came on the day they promised and was packaged very well. The mattress is comfortable, a good size and appropriate for my bed frame. The only slight nag is that they are not able to give you an indiction as to when the product is going to arrive, this means that you have to wait in all day for it to be delivered. The guy who did deliver it, however, was very friendly and helpful, he also rang me when he was near to say that he was arriving shortly. Ross Tackley

My mattress initially got sent to someone else with the same first name as me. But a phone call put things right and eventually it got here, a couple of days late. Because the vacuum pack made it so small, I first thought they had sent me the wrong one after all that, especially since the delivery note did not have the right name on it.

I spoke on the phone several times to Mattressdirect and the people were helpful and courteous.

So although my experience was not plain sailing, I believe it was just a hiccup and I'd recommend the company to other people. The prices are very reasonable.

We bought a mattress with the company which started with not being informed of delivery prior to it being left on our door step outside with a ripped plastic cover. When I took the cover off there were scuff marks where it must have been dragged around to the house. We also were informed there would be a free gift on purchase but only realised after it came with conditions of providing only good reviews within 7 days of delivery on facebook and their webpage.

Instead I am thinking the company should be reported to trading stands for poor service and bribery for positive reviews.

Overall I am happy with the service - the price was competitive and the delivery efficient. So far so good - looking forward to the free gift being delivered.

I purchased this mattress 4ft 6 Luxury Gold Orthopaedic Mattress; Pocket Sprung (#TEN8045) last week it's comfy though I have since added a decent topper to smooth over the pockets. Much nicer than my old mattress with a memory foam top. Arrived well packed and two days earlier than I'd expected. Very efficient company it seems, would recommend and after researching many mattresses is competitively priced. Obviously a mattress should last a long time so I will see how it wears and will post on here my comments after 6 months or so wear.
