After dealing with another contractor who attempted to lay a permeable drive for us,(in accordance with Planning Rules) and made a total hash of it, dealing with Ricki and his team was a breath of fresh air.

Ricki was always polite, well informed technically and obviously experienced in all aspects of constructing driveways. He kept us personally informed of progress on a daily basis.

His team were also experienced and very capable, the work area was always left as clean and tidy as practical and a great deal of time and effort was spent digging out to the correct depth and ensuring all the levels were correct. The new drive blends in with the contours of the Public footpath and the neighbours drive and is very attractive. The driveway abutting the house was laid so as to maintain an adequate splash zone between the hard surface and the DPC.

We would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone.

We are absolutely delighted with our new patio. The guys who worked on it were very professional, courteous, friendly and extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them and the standard of workmanship was excellent. We cannot speak highly enough of them and would recommend them wholeheartedly.

All the staff working on the job over the several days it took to complete, were all courteous, helpful and thoughtful! They were mindful of us such that if we were about to go out of the front door they stopped the block cutting (which creates lots of dust!) and only started again once we were clear! They even helped us carry shopping and other items to and from the car (as it had to be parked on the road for the duration of the job).

The block laying pattern was better than I envisaged, and the border edging they showed was a much better idea than my first thought! Always willing to meet my requirements. Even when I noticed one minor little problem towards the end, it was a case of 'That's no problem, you are the customer!' Needless to say it was sorted brilliantly and straight away!

Even the final finishing of the narrow flowerbed border was done beyond my expectations, with a very neatly finished job.

Depending on who you go to, they may or may not be the cheapest (but my quote was a good price!), but I think you will find they will be the best! It would be VERY hard to find anyone better!

As for the longevity of their work, it was probably 4 years ago they did next door, and when I finally decided it was time for mine to be done, I inspected next door to find it was still as good as the day they did the job! A great point in their favour which helped me make my mind up!

All in all, a thoroughly professional team, very pleasant people to get on with, and nothing is too much trouble.

RG Contractors did an amazing professional job on transferring my garden.I asked for a 'magical' garden and the boys delivered.My brief was a cottage like zen space,Cotswold stones and raised brickwork.

After completion I changed my mind on their recommendation of the colour of my brick(from red to grey).This was not a problem and was immediately changed to my liking.The team were friendly and efficient,they even survived my bacon sandwiches!They worked hard to remove any rubbish and debris and everything was put back in place.It was a joy to come home to see their finished design.

I smile every time I look at my lovely garden,the boys have created a amazing space for me to relax and entertain in.It looks beautiful and I'm extremely happy.

the person I dealt with and his team made an excellent job, of re - designing our entire garden, excellent workmanship and all of his team were friendly and polite, i would recommend R G Contractors to anyone who requires and for of landscaping> Very pleased!

Ricki and the team recently built a new driveway and complex pillared and railed dividing wall between the garden and the driveway. The team did a fantastic job and worked really hard. All the staff were polite and punctual and Ricki responded to questions and queries all throughout the process. I would use them again.

Fantastic guys. Worked rain or shine and turned up when they said they would. They have done an amazing job on our drive as well as decking, fencing and turfing of our back garden. All work was completed within the time which they specified and all to a high standard. We had an issue with some of the panels on our decking however RG Contractors were more than happy to come back and look at the issues and all was rectified with no question. Would definitely recommend and would definitely use again in the future.

This is a very hard working team - even in the extremely hot weather we had (around 33 degrees). They arrived punctually and phoned me if they were going to be late, made sure that I was happy with the work as it progressed and were always polite and pleasant. Even though this was a large and messy job, they left the area as tidy as was possible, even giving the windows a quick clean after they'd finished. The price I paid for my drive was not the cheapest, but it is a very high quality product. After sales care is exemplary and I will certainly get a quote from them to do my patio in the future.

Excellent job, summerhouse base, patio, tree removal and fencing. Turned up when they said they would and never seemed to stop work whatever the weather.All work done to a high standard and can highly recommend. Intend to get them back next year to replace the drive.

Following a survey and quote provided by Ricki, a price was agreed and work started and finished on schedule.

Was given a good choice of materials / finishes and advice to suit our requirements. Quality of work to a high standard and so far approx. 10 months on, no issues.

Ricki and his team are now being recommended by the builder I used following work on our house. I would have no hesitation in recommending him and his team and would use them again if needed.
