We dropped off our lawnmower to Murley (Nelson Lane, Warwick) for a potential service and some replacement parts. The mower was in reasonable working order but needed a service. The estimate we received back was for £350! That's the price for a brand new version of the same mower!!

Obviously we declined the work. When we went to collect the mower, we were then told we had to pay £25 for the 'technicians time' putting together the estimate otherwise they wouldn't release the mower back to us! That's daylight robbery in my book.

At no point did they say there would be a £25 charge to put together a preposterous estimate. Jeez, I could have done that myself!

Avoid like the plague - total ripoff merchants with a despicable work ethic.
