I've had dealing with damp solutions and they are always very professional.
Any problems that I had were dealt with the same day or as soon as possible.
Very reliable and knowledgeable about what they are doing within their business.
Professional Company To Deal With
After the initial enquiry and an appointment arranged, I found the surveyor from Damp Solutions to be most helpful and not too pushy. He gave me an honest appraisal of the work that was required and left me with a quotation for the required work. I did not proceed immediately, but after a discussion with my wife we decided to go ahead with what the surveyor advised.
The work was carried out within a couple of weeks and we were impressed with the speed and quality of the work. No mess was left and all the work was done within 2 days. Very Impressed with the company and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Their surveyors are skilled and experienced and the company has a customer service record second to none.
Didnt Have A Clue! Dont Bother
I initially contacted these people whom i found on the internet. All was ok i was asked some initial questions about me and my property and an appointment was made. More fool me!. They were late for the appointment which is a personal bug bare! They then proceed to try to tell me that i needed extensive works done and quoted an astronomical amount for what i later had done for less than half the amount. They said that i would need a cream injection which they could do with out any mess inside. (the company who did the job for me advised that this was impossible to issue a guarantee for, as the cream is required to be injected from both inside and outside)
Rang a couple of DPC cream manufacturer and both advised it involved replastering. I am so glad i checked it out otherwise i may well have thrown a substantial amount of my hard earnt money away.
ADVICE - dont bother or if you do ensure to get second or third opinions !!!
I am a fully qualified surveyor who has 20 years experience installing damp proof systems all over the country.
Who ever wrote the above comment is completely wrong and has been given bad advice.
Damp Solutions are specialists in this field and know what they are talking about.
You should have gone with them and not listened to your friends down the pub.
I have been watching the damp industry for some months waiting for a very crooked individual to appear. However I can tell you this company is made up of very honest and dedicated people. The advice they give is honest and they go out of their way to help. You obviously don't know about damp proofing or the industry. The reason why plaster replacement is recommended by some companies is that the old chemical methods were a bit hit and miss and plastering using a cement render plus additives held back the damp if the chemicals didn't work and generally they didn't. Admittedly if the plaster is contaminated by hydroscopic salt yes replacement is recommended but not always. To complaint about being late, give me the perfect man and I will give you a liar. Sounds to me you have a big chip or you are a competitor.
