Can't Praise This Company Highly Enough

Can't believe it, he arrived 8am on the dot and had my new boiler installed before I got home from work! Brilliant and quality service. If you're in Forest Hill and you're having boiler or plumbing issues i recommend this firm to you. Thanks guys

Excellent Work

I needed a new radiator installed for one of my properties in Sydenham, and their team was incredibly responsive. They quickly scheduled an appointment, and the engineer arrived on time, completing the installation efficiently and professionally. The new radiator works perfectly, and they left the area spotless. I highly recommend. Prompt and reliable service. Five stars!

Excellent Job Well Done

I must commend him for his friendliness, expertise, and professionalism. He thoroughly explained his planned approach and anticipated any unforeseen issues that might arise from working with concealed pipework beneath the floorboards. Even after the job was completed, he was happy to answer my additional questions. I would certainly work with Centrona again. Many thanks for an excellent job guys.

Appalling Company

Appalling company, use at your peril.

We had an intermittent hot water fault and called them on Tuesday morning to come and have a look. The appointment was booked for Thursday lunch time.

Late on Tuesday the problem escalated and the boiler shut down with an error code that the manual indicated required a Worcester Bosch Engineer which I organised as the installation is only 18 months old and is in warranty.

I rang them first thing on Wednesday to cancel as a Worcester Bosch engineer is being sent on Thursday, but they have taken £96 and refuse to refund as they have a 24 hour cancellation policy. When I pointed out I was cancelling over 27 hours before the appointment, the policy magically changed to be 'the day of 24 hours before'.

There are no indications of their cancellation policy on their website and when challenged I was told I could be sent the policy so I can see it, which is rather too late.

The situation is ridiculous as the need for cancellation could not have been foreseen and when the engineer comes out there will already be a Worcester Bosch engineer there working on the system.

Beware Of This Company!!!

After speaking to them on Monday to book a service for my boiler on the Friday they went and rescheduled the work without giving me a call.

It was only until I had taken time off work on Friday and waited all morning for the engineer to arrive that I found out that they had rescheduled my appointment till May!

Stating that they only do boiler servicing during this period. I have never heard of such practice. If this is the case why didn’t anyone phone me to let me know they had made a mistake to book me for Friday.

After speaking to several unhelpful staff members who said I will be contacted by a manager (which never happened) I decided to keep calling and be an inconvenience to them as they have been to me!

I was then told that they would send over an engineer on Friday afternoon. It was now 7pm in the evening which is an hour beyond their working hours but there was still no sign of this phantom engineer.

I am cancelling my account with this company who don’t address issues with urgency and will consider taking them to small claims for loss of earnings as I’ve lost a days pay waiting for nobody to turn up.

Be Carful !!

I paid for a gas check with this company 4 months ago by credit card I.e "an up front payment"... I then had a issue with the same rented property and asked if they could attend... (Attempting to create a Buisness relationship by using them again).. I did not hear how the visit went, received no invoice or correspondence regarding the matter then noticed 2 days after the job was booked my Online Banking was showing they had helped themselves to Money from my account...clearly they had stored my Card Details, Is this correct may I ask? . They cited their MD Mr "Frempong" insists on this practice or no works are undertaken, perhaps had I been told of this I may have had the opportunity to find someone else? why do people resort to this way of operating....it stinks....

Great Service

Lovely young man, kept me informed of what was going on throughout the service. The difference in service that i receive is miles ahead of my British Gas my previous supplier of 15 years.

With the amount of time spent servicing my boiler it is only now that I can see my boiler was never serviced properly with British Gas. Very pleased.

I would advise anyone that has homecare to switch to this company you are wasting your money with them.

Very Pleased With The Work Carried Out

Just recently moved into my house and had new boiler installed by centrona and must say i was very impressed icuwith the job. The installation guy was very tidy and clean and did a really good job tidying up my pipework
