Totally Amateur. What A Mistake.
They talked a good game and were very pleasant but did our new engineered oak floor so ineptly the first time, they had to sand all the new stain and wax off and start again. They splattered our brand new cream kitchen cupboards and just decorated skirtings and hall walls with black stain, then had the cheek to suggest I might like to pay a little extra because they'd had to do it twice??!!
In hindsight I should have found the time to do it myself.
They do not follow through with their promises on the website, leaving no kit, and making a big mess. They did come back to sort out some of the problem areas, but only made them worse.
Avoid this Company.
Not To Be Trusted
I would not recommend this company at all. On the face of there customer service everything is perfect. However, once in action there is very little customer service by their manager Leon Nechy. He was simply rude, and at no point put the customer opinion first. He will promise you everything and then charge you more. The biggest point is do not believe anything that The Best Floor Sanding Company say on their website. Its lies and is not followed through. Worst customer service I have ever experienced.
6 Point Guarantee :
1. Keeping to the time frame agreed on - The job took 3 days longer than quoted
2. No dirt, dust, or mess – that’s a promise - Furniture was left outside of the house, rubbish was left in the front yard, I had to request it to be taken away. There was also damaged which I have had to get request to get fixed.
3. Being punctual - as above the job was 3 days over. I do not regard this as punctual.
4. Working with you to select the right finish for your floor - there were promises to do this. Even though I made myself available to make comments at all times. Their was no consulting on samples for one of the rooms. Which I then had to pay for to get a different staining done.
5. We won’t ask for a deposit before starting the job This was done.
6. At the end of the job we supply full instructions and a complete maintenance kit to keep your floor looking perfect, very important - no instructions.
DO NO USE THIS COMPANY. AND DO NOT TRUST THE PERSON I DEALT WITH FOR ANY JOB.
They need to be shut down. I can not believe they are getting work.

I counldn't agree more with the review above. They are very pleasant and talk a good story, then do a second rate job.
All they had to do was sand, stain and wax a new engineered oak floor, but they made such a mess of it the first time that they had to sand off all the stain/oil and start again. They splashed black stain all over our brand new white kitchen cupboards, all over our freshly decorated front door etc. They came back to sort out the worst bits, and only succeeded in making it worse.
To add the proverbial insult to injury, they had the gall to suggest I might pay a bit more as they'd had to do it twice!??
Save your money and do it yourself.."It ain't rocket science".
As for the other "points" claimed on their website, none were kept.

Unbelievably Bad Finish For The Property
A lot of damage had been done to the skirtings on the stairs, and the backs of the stairs as well as the banister as the damage relates to staining of these white areas. This is contrary to text on their website "We leave no damage or dirt, no nasty solvent smell, just amazing wood floors as a foundation for your home’s interior, - a beautiful backdrop for your furniture and belongings"
Some of the walls had stain splatter on them, this is purely due to carelessness.
As per your website six point guarantee this does imply that I should not have paid anything but unfortunately the stairs were the last areas to be completed and didn't notice the level of damage till after the workmen had left, as per their website "Our unique six point guarantee means if you are not happy with your floor we will not charge you anything, not a penny!"
And finally as per your website "At the end of the job we supply full instructions and a complete maintenance kit to keep your floor looking perfect, very important.", I was left with no maintenance kit
In addition it is impossible to get a hold of the management to lodge a complaint
