DON ATASALISAITIS came to our house and promised a professional quality landscaping service within 8 days. 2 MONTHS later and my entire garden is still an unusable rubbish tip! Everything that has been done now needs to be ripped out and re-done PROPERLY by PROFESSIONALS. THE PAVERS WHERE LAID UPSIDE DOWN!!

DON ATASALISAITIS just sends his mates over who have no experience in landscaping/building what so ever to do the work on the cheap, DON ATASALISAITIS doesn’t even bother to turn up on site EVER. Even one of his workers said that "he couldn’t be bothered to get out of bed so he sent me instead" I was sent to the shops to buy paving slabs and organise delivery myself even tho he promised to help with that..

I gave him over £1000 to remove rubbish and buy materials, the massive pile of rubbish is still there and the cheap materials I'm told from other builders since is worth £200 max. He has kept the rest for himself. DON ATASALISAITIS has not returned to clear the rubbish, fix the mistakes and finish the job.

Border bricks where not the correct outdoor bricks to use, and have been laid directly on sand, with no cement footings. After a week they are already beginning the crack and move. I could pick one out with my bare hand.

Also the PAVING was LAID UPSIDE DOWN!!!!!. ALL my brand new slabs I bought are ruined with permanent dry cement stains stuck on the top-side surface of the slabs and others that have been cut incorrectly as a result. They will need replacing at £800 extra cost to me.

To hire DON ATASALISAITIS from Astonish Builds would be a massive mistake and I would recommend NEVER MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I AND OTHER PEOPLE HAVE DONE. I have sent many text messages, letters and phone calls and no response. The guy is a Rogue trader BE warned and AVOID!!

KEEP WELL AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY… Astonish Builds…… Astonishingly BAD!!! I have pictures to prove it which I am happy to share!!!

Please avoid this outfit. They advertise as a team of professionals on the website but it is just one guy who calls in some mates when they are available. He quoted for an eight day job and after 4 weeks finally gave up and left us with no bathroom fitted and just a pile of broken tiles and 6 leaks that have flooded next door. We have started court proceedings but wanted to write a warning here. We have since had our place inspected and had been found to be dangerous with live cables sticking out of walls and stripped cables above the ceiling. Contractors have told us everything will have to come out including the floor as the plumbing has been installed wrong. We are left with our old bathroom as a pile of junk in the front garden and a building site inside when he posted the keys back through the door and vanished with his tools. In the meantime I am picking up the pieces of a partner. I think they tout themselves as landscape garners now but they guy does not even have a van and we had to pick up our own tiles from the tile shop before he smashed half of them forcing us to pick them up again. 100% rogue trader avoid.

The work that Don and his team did to my property was first class. I especially love the wood work which I believed was a lost art. The look of the interior of my home is everything I could have wished for.

Astonish Builds is a disreputable company. Through utterly inexcusable mistakes to the re-plumbing of my bathroom, extensive damage has been caused not only to my building, but also to next door's property. He has left the job 1/2 unfinished, causing me to have to employ another company to re-do the work he has done, completely from scratch. I would warn anyone to not employ this company for any work to their house or garden as they cause more damage than good.

Donn has left me £3,000 out of pocket. he has taken the money and left me with an unfinished bathroom, with dangerous plumbing and electrics (live wires left exposed in a shower room he said was safe to use!)

In addition to the bad work he has done, the whole process of working with him has been extremely stressful, we have been without a bathroom for over a month now, when the job was meant to take 9 days.

I would warn anyone to stay well clear of this company.
