OMG, Des Thresh is definately one to avoid.

He said he couldnt give a fixed quote because he didnt know what he may come across then grossly overcharged us and made out he was doing us a favour!

When we questioned his bill he got threatening and used bullying tactics.

Awful experience!

We hired Des Hunt from Hunts construction in Cambridge to do some work for us. What a mistake that was. When we asked for a quote he stalled us saying he couldn't because he didn't know what he was going to find. Eventually he charged an incredible amount of money over 10k To do some remedial work. We took him off the job immediately and asked another local builder to quote for the same work. He quoted £750 and the job was completed in three days.

Des Hunt then threatened us with court and stole property of our land like a ransom. My advice is that this chancer would take money of old people easily, so please stay away from Hunts construction of Stewkley Cambridge.
