Excellent Service
Purchased kitchen in December last year and have been very impressed both with it and with the service received from National Kitchens in general and the person I dealt with in particular. He has been helpful, informative and organised. A replacement for a minor part that was damaged by the courier was ordered and arrived promptly. We live in Argyll - an area not usually served well by suppliers - but the replacement arrived within a couple of days.
The kitchen a Mereway, English Revival, modern Classic (AKA John Lewis, Classic Collection, Kensington) arrived on the specified date and is of excellent build and quality.
What more can I say....

Quality Products And Excellent Service!
Having visited a number of large and small kitchen retail suppliers (you name it, I've done it), we decided to go with national kitchens and plan the kitchen ourselves - based on price + quality of service. National kitchens was fantastic to deal with. Answered all our queries timely. His knowledge of the kitchen cabinets is way superior than those designers you can find on the high street. The cabinets are of top quality and are definitely better than most mid/top range kitchens on the market. We absolutely love our kitchen and would like to thank him for helping us achieving it!

Excellent Customer Service, Saved Thousands On Same Kitchen
We found National Kitchens as a way of saving money on a John Lewis kitchen. We had extensive building work going on, hadn't yet employed a kitchen fitter and were designing the kitchen from scratch ourselves. The new kitchen was to be 2/3 the size of our old kitchen as we were converting it to include a separate utility room. We then had a design done for £50 by John Lewis, after which we ordered the items from National Kitchens. He was extremely helpful and although we had to go back and forth checking the order several times the huge savings available made this work very worthwhile. The only difficulties we encountered were really due to our inexperience and a couple of errors on the part of the designer. This did mean we ended up paying £500 for a unit we couldn't use - but the savings made elsewhere made this more than worthwhile. Overall we saved about £80000 on the kitchen! Couriers let us down on a couple of occasions and we were pleased that by the time the kitchen arrived we had agreed to the builders installing it. Had it been a kitchen fitter hired after the order was made, they would have had to come back on a few occasions which would have been difficult to organise. Our builders loved the kitchen - it is extremely solid and looks fantastic! Even more importantly, it all 'works' in terms of storage (massive), bins (we live in a city which recycles 4 ways so we need 4 kitchen bins)and functionality. We especially love our units on the 'peninsula'- one of which combines a vegetable rack with a drawer deep enough for large cereal boxes; the tambour unit into which we had an electrical point installed; the wine racks; the massive drawers pegged out for plates and bowls; and the swan neck corner storage units. Oh and the larder unit too! We've packed a massive amount into what is a medium sized kitchen and don't feel the loss of space to the utility room an issue at all.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend National kitchens at all, although you do have to put in some time to checking and rechecking your order and it's probably best suited to people with a builder or kitchen fitter installing it who can also oversee the order and check it's all there at the outset.
Excellent, Personal Service
I needed a couple of cupboard carcasses, no doors, no fitting and they were as polite, helpful and informative as if I were ordering a whole kitchen, always on the end of the phone, with a direct number, and always knew which order I was talking about. The order was dealt with quickly and I had my carcasses in about a week. Well done, National Kitchens.

Superb Service From An Outstanding Company
It gives me great pleasure to write this review about National Kitchens and in particular about the gent who runs the show from answering your queries, taking your order, helping you to plan the layout, correcting any issues and literally bending over backwards to provide exemplorary customer service.
He put me at ease straight away as I was nervous about ordering from the internet however the kitchens they supplied from Mereway were available to view at a number of high end designer kitchen outlets local to me in
Hampstead. He helped me through the design and amazingly got to work with the supplier to build a bespoke tall corner unit which was the larder of our dreams. The lead time was reasonable [around 4-6 weeks]. The cost of the kitchen was about 30 percent cheaper than anywhere else.
All the units got delivered ready built and were solid carcasses with 19mm backs which is a significant quality upgrade from the likes of the high street kitchen outlets [Ma, Wi, IK, JL etc.]. There was one damaged unit - called him, who immediately ordered a replacement which arrived a few days later - no questions asked.
This was the very best shopping experience I have ever had and when you are making a significant investment this quality of service is like gold-dust. Thank you.

Top Quality, Excellent Service, Great Value.
As a former builder I have fitted many kitchens of varying qualities and prices. The units provided by National kitchens I would definitely rate as good as they come. The range of units available is extremely comprehensive with a degree of flexibility in sizing not experienced with cheaper or even mid priced kitchens. I found an advisor, who took my order to be very helpful, indeed saving me money by sugesting alternative finishes on the accessories I had chosen whilst providing exactly the same look I was trying to achieve.
All this for a price comparable to the kind of kitchen provided by a DIY store... but without bits missing!!

Superb Service
We have a log cabin in an isolated part of Wales and from a recommendation from a friend and work colleague ordered a kitchen from National Kitchens. The kitchen was delivered on time in Wales and importantly small items we had decided to add to later, another cabinet, extra handles and drawers were obtained with no fuss or problem.
We are extremely pleased with the quality of the kitchen and the friendly and helpful service received.

Look No Further!
After visiting ALL the main kitchen suppliers and doing a LOT of homework, we were sure enough we could design our own kitchen for our new extension as well if not better and find a direct to public supplier of high quality kitchen cabinetry to make it possible. My wife and I spent months looking and every time we thought we found a sound supplier we'd dig a little deeper and find unhappy customers and lawsuits. There are a lot of bad people in this trade! We were getting a bit disheartened and then we found National Kitchens UK. Not everyone has the skills or confidence to design their own kitchen, but in fact plenty lot of people do (or can rise to the challenge, especially given the obscene prices some retailers charge) - but you do need good info on the products (dimensions, materials, etc) and prices and want to know what you're getting in terms of quality. The info on the National Kitchens website had everything needed, and for the very few aspects we were not 100% sure about I phoned and spoke straight away with the owner who was more than ready to provide that last piece of info or advice or a friendly check, e.g. 'have you thought about X?' or "don't forget you may need y." The quality is absolutely first rate. Same manufacturer as top-line in the top stores, at a MUCH lower price. Delivery was bang-on, delivery guy was super nice. I had a professional kitchen fitter friend who put them in for me and he said these were indeed top of the line in terms of build quality. Solid as rocks. A few minor additional bits and bobs were needed (a few extra handles, more plinth lengths, etc) but not getting them on the first order was totally down to my own oversight, but they were posted promptly with no issues at all. And all this was in the last few weeks before Christmas 2014! In the end, everything was perfect. My family are all into cooking (and eating) and we practically live in the kitchen, so this is the real centre of the house so usability, quality, beauty and great craftsmanship are hugely important. My wife and I look for high standards in all respects, and National Kitchens met them all, 100% - products, service, communications, and follow-through. They really do set the high water mark. If more firms were operated like National Kitchens this would be a different country! It is now one year later and absolutely no problems. National Kitchens is the real deal! I would recommend them without qualification.

Great Service, Great Kitchen
We used National Kitchens about 5 years ago to purchase our new kitchen as we found out they used the same suppliers as some of the big retailers such as John Lewis, but at a lower cost due to their lower overheads. We found their website easy to navigate, and used the free software recommended to design the kitchen millimetre perfect, and more than anything we had real confidence in the service received from the person I dealt with who owns the company. There were a few bits and bobs that needed sorting following the initial delivery of my kitchen and they were sorted immediately at no cost or inconvenience to me. 5 years on and I realised I needed a couple of additional bits that i'd never finished putting on the hinges (at the time I didn't realise what they were - chrome plates to cover the hinges), and realised that i'd not got enough, (possibly because they weren't all supplied but possibly that I had misplaced them) and all I can say is that he was more than willing to help me again, and sent the replacements free of charge - even though I offered to pay. I know it's probably only a few quid (maybe as much as £50 though) but what a fantastic service!

This Is Where I'll By Any Kitchen In The Future!
Buying a new kitchen for your home is a big deal and I'd been putting off for a while. Finally my wife said, "this is the year", so our hunt for the right kitchen began. First we spent every one of my days off from work visiting every DIY and home and kitchen store getting design ideas and costs.
As we have quite a large kitchen which would require quite a few cabinets we soon realised that the cost was going way over our budget. I could see my wife getting disheartened thinking that she would have to settle for something cheap and nasty, so I started looking on-line for better value for money, I soon came across National Kitchens, I liked the site because all the prices were shown on the website and the whole range of cabinets and measurements were displayed too so I didn't need a pushy sales person to come and visit me a home telling me what a great deal I was getting.
I drew a plan of the kitchen and started to add the cabinets that I wanted. Very quickly I had managed to put together the exact kitchen that we wanted and nervously checked the Total price including delivery. Wow! this was under our planned budget and included everything we wanted and was the new style white gloss design (and not just on the outside, but glossy on the inside too!).
I then went on line searching for reviews like the ones on this site. I could see that there had been many many satisfied people who had bought from this company. What sealed the deal for me was when I called the company, on several occasions to ask questions and Spoke to a guy. Now my whole background has been in retail and customer service, and I often get upset when I visit stores or call customer service for companies who have clearly put customer service last on their priority list, But I can honestly say that the service that I received from the person we dealt with throughout the process (and even afterwards) deserves real recognition. He was always polite, understanding, flexible and cheerful (a real human being). I would say that if every company adopted this approach not only would shopping be a better experience for all but they wouldn't have to spend so much money on marketing budgets to attracted the customer as their customers would do all the promoting.
Also the quality needs a mention, these ARE NOT the cheap flimsy cabinets from than you would expect from mas production, quite the opposite the cabinets are solid and professionally made.
Now we have a fantastic kitchen and I have a very happy wife who loves to cook in her new kitchen (another bonus!).
