Ordering process was fine (door handle) and received goods but on opening found the handle was wrong handed (for a door opening the other way - so pretty useless to us).

After several contacts finally got it picked up by a courier and waited for promised refund - which didn't happen.

Several emails and phone calls later, get standard message that they need to speak with their manager - we hear nothing back and need to call again.

*** Do not order from this company *** until they sort their service out.

Customer services don't respond to emails. They have failed to deliver the goods despite receiving payment. Don't use this company. Delivery of originial order was quick but if you any other issues / returns they are impossible to deal with. We resorted to dealing with the manufacture direct on one matter and they have been helpful (once we contacted the CEO) where as discount locks never acknowledged , let alone responded to our emails or calls.

ORDERED A LOCK, IT WAS NOT IN STOCK, WAS OFFERED A REFUND, STILL ASKING FOR IT 6 WEEKS LATER THEY JUST SEND EMAILS SAYING THEY HAVE GENERATED A TICKET, I JUST WANT MY MONEY BACK. COMPANY SAYS THEY ARE A 24 HOUR LOCK SMITHS BUT THEY ONLY OPEN 9 TILL 5 USELESS AND UNTRUSTWORTHY.HAVING TO GET MY MONEY BACK THROUGH MY BANK.

Very fast delivery fooled me into thinking I was dealing with a good retailer. WRONG !!Handles ordered as part of larger order were not size described. Sent back to their wholesaler as per their detailed instructions - tracked and confirmed as delivered. Despite several emails and phone calls, now 5 weeks on and still no refund. (lots of promises but no action - they say wholesaler has no record of delivery - ie lost them).

Will also be referring to credit card company as no other reasonable alternative.

The company sent me the wrong lock. They promptly collected it as they didn't have the right one available, promising my money back within 10 days. Two months on I still haven't had the refund from them. Despite a number of emails the company has just ignored me and does not respond at all. Mi have now taken the matter up with my credit card company.

I am a bit reluctant to write this review because my experience is so different to the other reviews for this company. I hasten to add I have nothing whatsoever to do with this company apart from ordering some locks.

My experience was that I ordered five eurocyclinders and a chubb replacement rim lock yesterday. I also wanted the eurocyclinders to be keyed-alike. I used the company because I ordered from them successfully three years ago. Once I had placed the order I saw this website and immediately rang my credit card company to cancel the order. But too late, they said if there were any problems to get back to them and they would recompense me. I remember saying to my wife yesterday lunchtime that I could see I was going to get a lot of hassle.

I was totally gob-smacked this lunchtime when I arrived home to find a parcel with the total delivery had arrived. I have fitted all the eurocylinders and tested the keys - they are all fine. The rim lock is clearly brand new and the extra keys I ordered all work.

Ordered some replacement locks for next day delivery. Never delivered. Despite several calls to Customer service, never got any consistent action. What I understood that the delivery is made to some different address. Didn't received any proof of delivery though. As my property is in risk I had to take alternative measure. Cancelled the order and requested a refund. It's been two weeks I am waiting for the refund.

Bought a gun cabinet via this company which they then said they were unable to supply and would offer a refund which could take up to 4 weeks !!

Nearly 4 months later no refund has appeared and emails sent to them are bounced back ! This is a sham company !

I returned a lock that my joiner advised was unsuitable a month after I recevied it. Discount Locks refused to refund the price I paid becasue I had not returned it within 7 days. They offered to sell it on my behalf. I heard nothing from them for 12 months. I asked for the lock to be returned to me. They could not find it and will not offer any compensation. Having sent an email to communicate their decision they immediately blocked my emails without any further conversation. A one star rating overrates the quality of their service.

I ordered a lock on the Discount Locks website - at checkout I received an error message saying "Order not processed". I received no e-mail notification so quite rightly assumed that the order had not gone through. I was amazed when two days later the lock was delivered. As I had bought a lock from another website (Ironmongery Direct which I can highly recommend) I arranged to return the lock which I did by recorded delivery. It has taken me numerous e-mails and phone calls and 37 days to obtain a refund but the company is refusing to refund the £4.95 postage that I had to pay for the lock to be delivered initially and also the £4.95 that it cost me to return the lock.

Do not deal with this company under any circumstances, their customer service is atrocious.
