Absolute Nightmare!- Do Not Buy.

Bought through Easy Alarms, on line. Very complicated to set up, neither of the remotes will switch alarm off once the alarm has activated, I have to remove the siren box cover and switch it off from inside. Window contacts do nothing. Siren box has a single red L.E.D light which flashes when the system is armed but it is so dim that it isn't visible through the blue plastic lense covering it and that's when situated in a pitch black garden at night. Setting the alarm up was a real head ache with complicated internal switches to set for each PIR and door/window contacts. The instructions are very basic and do not relate to the actual items in my box of components. The helpline number on the instruction booklet puts you through to a private BT number with a very annoyed lady at the other end who is understandably frustrated at getting nuisance calls. So there is no proper back up service. Easy alarms don't really want to know either. The guy sounds amicable on the phone but doesn't want to talk refund...

My only regret is that I didn't buy it through Amazon because I'd have got more redress.

I am very disappointed with this purchase and in view of my recent garage break in and loss of £2000 worth of uninsured tools, this further expense of £119 has simply added to my upset. I am very disappointed with Easy alarms too and wish I hadn't made this purchase through them. I did it in a rush in my hour of need after the shock of having had tools stolen from my garage. I was too impulsive and now am full of regret. I was caught again. Waste of £119 plus add on extras such as a strobe light £15 and three sets of door contact at £20 each - Total amount wasted £194. Total cost of break in now £2194.
