These Are Not The Same Brushes

I have been in the building /decorating business for more than 30 years and i believe the perfection plus was by far the best brush for oil based paint. I have recently bought 2 boxes of the now called perfection brushes, they are not the same brushes. I went back to the merchant who told me that the perfection plus are not available anymore. Very disappointed and I will not be using them.

Hamilton Brushes Just Have That Pro Look And Feel,

Hamilton brushes just have that pro look and feel, but I do think that Hamilton Perfection brushes that are available at the trade centres are not the same as the Hamiton Perfection Plus that used to be readily available, never the less I will continue using them.I have been a decorator for 24 years and do feel the difference between the two.(If indeed there is any difference in the making of these two brushes.)What Im trying to say is,I hope you can still get the perfection pluss.Best brushes I ever used.Just a wee tip when first using a new brush, wash it to get loose bristles out then dunk it over the ferrule to seal (with oil based paints.)

If Like The Previous Reviewer You Use These Hamilt

If like the previous reviewer you use these Hamilton Perfection Premium Paint Brushes with water based paints or store/clean these brushes out in water then then you will kill them. The bristle is 100% black Chinese hog hair and should ONLY be used in oil based paints. If you want a brush for water based paints then get a synthetic brush.

This is by far and away the BEST oil based brush on the market here in the UK and i can tell you that as a painter with 20 years experience.

I Recently Purchased A Hamilton Perfection Premium

I recently purchased a Hamilton Perfection Premium Paint Brush. I got 2 of the Hamilton 3inch paint brushes after being in business myself for 12 years. I will never buy hamilton brushes again. The bristles kept coming out and spoiling the finish of my work. the stock after cleaning was full of water and constantly leaked. I paid £18 each for these brushes and think I could have got better value for money in my local £ shop.
