I saw an advert for this small company on 'Gumtree' and rang for a quote. I was looking for a couple of new doors (front and back) and was expecting to have to spend a night in talking to a salesman. However the lady on the phone simply gave me some rough estimates over the phone - and completely blew me away. She offered to send me a brochure, which arrived by first class post the very next day. Having chosen my designs I rang back and spoke to the same nice lady who gave me my 'supply only price' and a rough estimate for the fitting cost, explaining that should I wish to go ahead a surveyor would need to come out to measure my doors and look at the fitting job. I did want a couple of prices from National companies so I had to endure 2 nights of battling with salesmen who expected me to make my decision there and then. Having finally managed to get some figures, the price from the nice lady at United Plastic seemed to be too good to be true - so I rang back to check! & everything was correct at nearly half the cost of the other two companies.

I went with United Plastic & Glass and am more than happy with my new doors and the service provided. I have a full guarantee (no probs so far) and am confident that this small local factory would be happy to help should I get any problems.

I think that the company only works locally (Leeds/Bradford) but I would recommend either using this company if you are in Yorkshire, or finding a similar small company if not.

I still get calls from the other 2 national companies pestering me to buy new doors - even though I have told them 100's of times I am all sorted and happy!
