Ripton’s have just finished a new tiled roof gable conservatory replacing our old glass one. It was always to hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Really quality finished roof, which has totally transformed our old conservatory. Even though there have been problems with the delays and time taken to build Ripton’s kept us informed all the way through. They were recommended by my neighbour who used them some years ago.

There staff are very professional, clean and tidy in our home. The installers had some problems with parts but knew what to do and liaised well with the office. With all of the problems with Covid and labour force I would and have been recommending Ripton’s for any large projects.

I ordered new windows in dark grey outside and a new modern looking front door, the owner came and measured, went to the showroom which was brilliant and very helpful people showed me the windows to look at. All very relaxed unlike some others. Prices were very good and the fitters who carried out my job were first class. All in all a great experience and recommend from a friend of mine.

Having our last conservatory just finished Riptons have once again carried out a perfect job from the beginning to the end. I have recommended them many times to friends and family and do not know of any complaints. All I can say after spending a considerable amount of money is that if there is ever a problem they come out and put it right. I think this is a genuinely trustworthy family business which I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. The builders and installers were very clean and tidy although did drink a lot of tea ! Its great to use a local company.

I first dealt with this company in 2014 and had a relatively pain free experience (project value £11000). I recently obtained a quotation for the conversion of an old conservatory into a Garden Room with a warm roof and new glazing. This was to be accompanied with replacement of 10 windows (project value £35000). The first thing that caused alarm was that Ripton were unaware that Building Regulation approval was required but when this was pointed out, they accepted it. The next issue was the make and construction of the roof. Here again, they did not seem to know enough. Finally, I asked for confirmation that their 10 year guarantee covered everything i.e roof, fit, locks, hinges etc and was referred to the back of the pink order form that I signed in 2014. In very small print, it details a number of exclusions and the costs/conditions to transfer the guarantee to a new owner of the property. On their website and in their quotations, you will only see mention of the guarantee but not a word on the exclusions. The first time you will see this is when you have placed the order and about to sign the agreement. That is if you have the patience to read it and also have a magnifying glass handy.
