Can't Believe The Service We Have Suffered
I have been reading all of the reviews about PVC Trade Counters and see that they are very keen to reply to any bad ones, so in an attempt to actually get them to reply to us I am writing one myself. We paid a deposit of £1250 for Bifold doors on May 10th 2016 via bank transfer and we are still waiting for the work to be completed (5 months and counting!). We have experienced poor customer service and quite frankly the worst company I have ever had to deal with. It started with the waiting. When we emailed or called for updates we were told that they were not going to provide updates unless there was something to report. After 2 months of no replies we called them and after a very brief time she hung up to avoid answering anything difficult. Eventually we managed to get a delivery date of 4 August. This date came and went. We then emailed them to see when they planned to fit but received an email saying that the doors were damaged and would have to be remade. An new date of the 26th was given. We have since waited and chased but have received no updates or news. We also found out the company had dissolved on the 23 August and has since been set up with a slightly different name with her as the director. We have been messaging some other people who have experienced the same problem as us as we are very concerned that this company has taken our money with no intention of completing the work. The last email from PVC Trade Counters was received on 5 September in response to a phone call where she once again hung up. The email was to say that we are a priority but still no date was offered. We have since sent several emails asking for a date but over a month later there has been no reply. Please scroll through all of the reviews so that you do not make the same mistake as us. We are truly gutted that we seem to have lost our money.
We had our windows are doors fitted by these people in July 2015, still waiting for our guarantee. We are now selling our house and need proof of FENSA for this company. Assuming we won't get this now.
Did you see a similar company has set up under the name PVC Trade Counters (South East) Limited in Canterbury. Under a women's name? I wonder whether this is his partner!?

The company was dissolved by the Crown, so technically all creditors of pvctradecounters (that's you and me and anyone else they owe money to) have lost their money, as there is no company to pursue for the funds.
It makes me sick also that they can just start up a new company, but unfortunately they can.
They started the new company around sept/Oct but I have been in contact with a couple of disgruntled staff that were left to pick up the pieces whilst the two owners of the company swanned off to Thailand to spend our money, and that told me that business was really bad, probably because of all the bad reviews that people have been leaving.
I have not checked for a couple of weeks, but the company website and Facebook page were down, and so I am predicting that they are going to start a new company under a different name.
As we are now unable to recoup the money that they owe us, the best we can do (legally) is to monitor, and then leave reviews for the new company if it ever comes online.
I know its a tough pill to swallow, but unfortunately your efforts to raise this with a small claims court won't work, so don't spend time and money on it.
I know exactly how you feel, it makes me really angry that they have done this to so many people and are still protected by the law.
Hi, I would be interested. We are owed over £900 and are going through the small claims process. It makes my stomach churn that this could happen to someone else. Taking peoples hard earned cash, closing a company and operating the same AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL practice under the same name, same website with a minor change i.e. director name! They have ZERO integrity and should be struck off from ever taking anyones money ever again!
I was a customer of Pvc trade counters in March 2015 and had installations of doors and windows, I am supposed to have a 10 year guarantee with the pvc installations. What does this mean now, when I hear the company has been dissolved?

I have been chasing pvc trade counters limited for over 6 weeks , they have taken my money and refuse to reimburse me or supply the window ordered , won't reply to email or phone and then today I check company house and find out they dissolved the company this morning , but I note their website is still operating which I believe to be illegal. Steer well clear obviously not very good people no doubt owing loads of people like myself money . I will be notifying trading standards !!!
I am interested in getting in touch with you itie to discuss this further as they also took my money and I know of a few others that they have done this to. Karen and Tony are currently in Thailand for 3 months on the deposits of innocent people and I am considering going to the local press with their story.
