I have used Henry and Sons Windows for many years at several properties which I have renovated.

They are extremely professional,polite, patient with all queries, with immediate and effective responses to any problems.

Their prices are fair, and their products are of top quality.

From initial survey to completion, the process is always painless and fast, and everything is left clean .

I have many years ago used other well known companies, and am very experienced in assessing work and attitudes.

I would not dream of using anyone else in future projects.

RUDE, AGGRESSIVE, BAD PRODUCT, BAD SERVICE

Don't buy from Henry & Sons – 1) they got my order wrong and then , refused to address the problem or compensate 2) I had 3 installation dates where they did not turn up and they didn’t bother to phone and tell me in advance or apologise.

3) If you ever dare complain or try to speak to them on the phone to get a problem fixed they invariably hang up on you. They act very unprofessionally and can’t deal with complaints – surprising, as they must get a lot of them. 4) Very shoddy workmanship - they ruined my cornicing and left a mess behind them.

Their attitude seems to be that you are being difficult and so they respond in an unfriendly, aggressive manner.

I’m a reasonable person and write good reviews when I come across good companies and bad reviews for companies like Henry & Sons because they are bad and life is too short to deal with difficult companies who take up your time and effort, but still take your money. YOU WILL PROBABLY REGRET BUYING FROM HENRY & SONS.

I'm embarrassed to say I instructed Henry & Sons to install my windows. Looked fine when first installed but as soon as the cold weather came we were freezing in our rooms and couldn't figure out why!

We checked the house thoroughly then realised the draughts & cold air were coming through the windows!

After many phone calls to the office, and informing them we were well within our warranty, they eventually sent one of their men out to check their work.

The man who visited us removed some of the panels around various windows & to our horror we discovered the original workmen had not filled the windows with expanding foam but had stuffed them all with newspaper!! We couldn't believe it, no wonder we were freezing!

They did eventually send someone back to rectify the problems but my faith in the company had already been extinguished by then and having seen the quality of friends' windows I realise Henry & Sons have very poor quality windows and are also untrustworthy.

I now do my best to warn people off from using them & obviously wish I'd never come across them! Use at your peril!

Would give this company a minus if I could

I have a 10 year warranty well that is not worth the paper it is written on.

I Booked a repair it took over a week for someone to arrange this, when the operative arrived, I showed him the stable door which had a problem opening

after 10 minutes he said it was all working fine and left, lucky I checked the door he had removed the catch so the door was opening freely and it was in a worse state than when he arrived I went outside and found him sitting in he’s van I told him what he had done and he could not leave the door like this, he said no stress, he said he could put some sellotape on it.

He then went on to phone to the office who said he would be back on Saturday to repair the door with the part, Saturday came and nothing, I phoned the office and was told they had to order the part, and would let me know when it was in, I phoned a week later still nothing and was told that it was because of the brexit and they could not get the parts in the uk, this went on for six weeks with me having to keep phoning and emailing and each time being fobbed off, also one rude woman in the office who should attend a custom service course.

After 6 weeks I got told they could not get the part in because of the COVID pinging, I said what next I was told they had checked everywhere even eBay and there was not a part in the uk, I asked for for the part number to see if I could find this part myself they did send me this amazingly.

Would you believe it I found the part in the uk within a hour.

I emailed them and informed them that I had the part and asked them to arrange for the part to be fitted, was told this would have to be booked in and this would take time, this is just a joke.

So I had to pay for the part and get someone fit it, when I had a warranty.

Please what ever you do don’t use this company

I use to recommend this company as years ago they where so good, don’t know who is running it now but they are just terrible and rude.

After the installation of our entrance door, we had leaks they couldn't fix still. Now we have steam between our glass panels and nobody is replying to our letters and emails since months. Warning: they claimed to be part of FENSA, but they are not in reality. Non professional.

2nd time job got booked in (first time let down) and paid for and the date was booked, the day before they still couldn’t confirm if job would go ahead as their builder was not answering his calls. This job was booked weeks before. While I tried to find out what was going on, a person, who said she owned the company, was very rude to me. Job did not get done.

This company installed wooden windows for me 3 years ago. The sills came apart at the corners shortly afterwards because they were held together with a 5" screw. No proper wood mortos joint used. They blamed this problem (shoddy workmanship) on subsidence which was proved totally incorrect. The company went into liquidation a year ago and now trades under a very similar name. They then said the 10 year FENSA guarantee could not be honored because the repair would invalidate the insurance e policy. The manager promised to call and email me but never did.

Don't really write reviews but my experience with this company has left me with nothing but positive words from the secretary's to the fitters/builders they are honest people who are on time hard working and have respect for your property since I have worked with this company I haven't looked back so reading these reviews have left me shocked as the negative reviews can't be of the same people I have been having work done by if you have had work done by these lovely people I'm sure you'll take time out to write this review just how I have don't let critics stop you from having a great job done for you.

We had our sash windows fitted a year ago. The follow up service has been appalling. They had all the wrong size weights in the side boxes, which they then came back to replace and only did the bottom windows not the tops, so had to come back again to do the top windows. They hadn't put all the weather strip seals on the tops and bottoms which we are still waiting for. We are still waiting for window restrictors 10 months on, apparently they have been sent somewhere else. Despite me calling them yesterday they have just phoned to reschedule an appointment we had today to finally get all of this solved. This is the second time I have taken a day off work and just had a phone call saying they are not turning up. This is terrible customer service and we are very upset by the way this has been handled.
