Last September we paid ECO REDWOOD WINDOWS (the UK part of a Polish company also known as GORAN), £4000 as a 50% deposit on 7 new windows. When the windows were delivered in December all 7 of them were either the wrong size or damaged. Their UK fitters THE BEST WINDOWS LTD had incorrectly measured all the windows, some of them by as much as 30cm. However, the fitters had destroyed the old windows before checking if the new windows were the correct size so we were left with windows partially boarded up or jammed into frames. All their work was substandard. This was all done just before Christmas 2013.

At first Eco Redwood Windows/Goran apologised in writing and offered a partial refund. When we asked for a full refund, they suddenly said it was nothing to do with them!

Their fitters The Best Windows at first said they would issue FENSA certificates for 2 of the windows they managed to fit. Then they suddenly said they wouldn't issue the FENSAs, forcing us to pay council building control a fortune to certify the windows (otherwise you cannot sell your house).

Do not touch them. They have cost us thousands of pounds and an untold amount of stress, leaving us to live in a house that looks like a building site. Time and again they have lied to us. We have given them £4000 to trash our house.

Our case against them has been picked up by the European Consumer Law Centre who are pursuing them on our behalf. We are also reporting them to the Trading Standards Authority. These people should not be in business.
