Spent £25k on a conservetory almost 5 years ago and have had nothing but problems ever since with leaks.

The installations manager came out numerous times promising to refit the entire roof but every time they booked he job in some young installers came and parched it up.

It's a coloured conservatory that now has silicone around the glazed units on the roof and looks terrible.

Following further promises before the winter to refit again when the weather gets better I was recently contacted to be told that the original company 'crystal windows' has gone into administration and that the new company 'crystal living' won't be responsible for honouring the 10 year guarantee despite the company operating from the same showroom in poynton, the same staff including the previous Managing Dorector, same telephone numbers and same website apart from the alteration of the word 'windows' to 'living'

I was further told that the 'new' company would come out to complete an assessment and would provide a quotation for the remedial work that is required.

The same installations manager came out and spent 2 mins at the property any YET AGAIN agreed that the roof needed to be removed and refitted.

A week later I received a letter saying that due to the current commitments of the company, they won't be able to offer any quotation or provide any support to fix the conservetory and have basically said that I have to deal with it.

DO NOT ORDER ANY GOODS FROM THIS COMPANY WITHOUT A PERSONAL GUARUNTEE FROM THE DIRECTORS THAT THE WORKS WILL BE GUARUNTEED BY THEM AND NOT THE COMPANY AS THEY WILL SIMPLY WIND IT UP AND CONTINUE UNDER A SLIGHTLY ALTERED NAME AGAIN.
