An extremely efficient and professional service that we can highly recommended. Following a simple survey, quick production we received a sleek fitting service and all within a good price. But best of all we now have silence and can sleep. Wonderful.

Overall okay. I got secondary windows installed. Sound City are an okay balance of quality and cost. But you need to spend a lot of time to sort out snags and chase them. If time is valuable to you I would go elsewhere. I am happy with the final windows and would recommend them if you can spend the time.

Positives: The windows do reduce the road sound. One of the more affordable quotes (not the most affordable). They look good now that the snags have been sorted. Some of the lads that came round were very professional.

Negatives: the Initial guy that gave a quote turned up 1/2hr late after I rushed home. Lots of snags, had to get the guys back 3 times after the install. The first time was really frustrating as the installer tried to pull a fast one after bodging the window ( it wasn't balanced so you couldn't shut the window without a bit of pushing a pulling) and telling me that it was supposed to be like that. To City Sound's credit, the person I dealt with sent this guy back the same day to fix it. But sloppy painting, sticking windows, and a cracked window pane caused 2 more visits. Occasionally they can be a slow on the email replies.

Advice to City Sound: Get your installers to get the install right the first time, so it doesn't waste your time and mine.

The whole experience from the start to completion took only 3 weeks. All the times and dates were adhered to and the fitting was completed without any dramas. The fitters were efficient, clean and polite even though they had to carry the secondary windows up 6 flights of stairs (without complaint).

So for a change this was a very pleasant experience and I would recommend City Sound to anyone interested in secondary glazing. Their windows have made an immediate and dramatic effect and I only wished I had done this years ago.

Finally the windows blend into the rooms where you don't even notice them.

I have recently had 3 lRge sash Windows secondary glazed by City Sound. The assessor was the only person to come around with a sample product and was able to do the surer at the same time. I had quotes from a number of other vendors, these guys gave me plenty of additional information whilst deciding.
