Quoted for replacement double glazed windows as existing units had started to fail, initially very good, salesman excellent, measuring engineer also very good, promised that the windows would fit and align with the wall openings (old house with thick walls of varying thickness from 2'6" to 2')

Had replacement windows installed in April 2014.

First issue: installation engineer telephoned to inform that the windows would not fit properly due to alignment of the walls AFTER they already removed the old windows, resolved after much consternation and telephoning whilst on holiday.

No Fensa paperwork, chasing with A&L, no response.

Second issue: Quality of secondary trim on one window very poor, struggled to get engineer to attend and rectify, eventually resolved by end of May, engineer attends to remove and modify trim - Lost day of work.

Still no Fensa paperwork.

Third issue: More hassle with 'service department', reported condensation on inside and outside of two windows that didn't suffer from condensation before replacement windows were installed, more hassle with the 'service department', 'engineer attends, scruffy, unkempt, reeking of tobacco, unprofessional and unhelpful, informed that the condensation is my problem and is due to the wind, the house heating, the position of the house and that the new windows are better at retaining heat.

Engineer promises to chase Fensa paperwork.

No offer of rectification or ameliorative measures, only offered excuses.

Think twice before engaging Apple and Larkin, if I had known at time of order what I know now, I would have shopped elsewhere.

I am disgusted with the service I have been given, no customer service at all, once they have your money they dont care about the problems, I have work which still isnt finished, a new conservatory roof that leaks, I regret using this company take my advice stay well away

My mother had a job done by them paid in full!! Guttering leaking and tint not put on new roof!! Job completed so to speak on the 14th jan 2014!! Have rang everyday and family member has been to West Bromwich shop on more than one occasion!! Never had anyone contact her back or try to resolve the situation!!!!!
