I have Affordable Windows doors and windows throughout my recently purchased property. I have a number of issues and with these being not even half way through Affordable Windows offered guarantee I contacted them to ask for assistance. Unfortunately however, the previous owners, both of whom died before their executor sold their property to me, failed to notify Affordable Windows in writing giving one month’s notice. Affordable Windows therefore refused to transfer the 5 years plus of guarantee remaining. I followed this up asking if they would inspect their installation and price up the fixes required, but they failed to turn up when scheduled.

Issues I have inherited are; badly weather damaged main entrance door, cracks all down the outside and it drips water when opened after it has rained. A patio door has dropped and the stay the prevents it opening too far is broken. Most of the doors and windows are very drafty.

Go elsewhere, and spend your money on proper windows.

I love my windows do not get me wrong, but the level of service leaves much to be desired. I was told by the sales person that they would also repair some drywall which was never done. When they came out for final inspection the installer called the office pulled my file and said yes that was included he would get right on it.Don called me on Tuesday and said no that was not written in your contract. I now am having to pay an additional $200.00 to complete my job.

I am planning next to window in my screened in porch and I will ok elseware, They have lost my business.

I had new windows fitted in May 2015 and waited until the worst of the winter was over before I posted a review. So........ 9 months and a wet, windy and cold winter later I am still delighted with the quality of these windows.

There are no pushy salesmen, he came, measured up, gave me a price and put no pressure on me to sign straight away. If I have to look for a negative then it is the lack of a brochure, at that time he only had a booklet with some photos and it was difficult to imagine what the finish would look like e.g. window surrounds, ledges etc.

On the day the windows were fitted the fitters arrived at the stated time, were very pleasant and extremely tidy. They even put covers on my drive and garden so there was no mess at all. They worked throughout the day, drank coffee as they worked - no time wasting and finished the work earlier than stated!

I would highly recommend Affordable Windows for quality windows at a very affordable price.

I had my windows installed by Affordable during the summer but I wanted to wait until the cold weather set in before writing a review as it's easy for sales guys to make claims about how great their windows are when the weather's fine. The proof of the pudding though is in the eating.

So here were are late in November and it's been baltic freezing and hardly stopped raining for a fortnight and I'm happy to report that my windows work as good as they look. Whereas last year at this time my heating was on at full blast the whole time, this year it's a completely different kettle of fish. I'm actually having regularly to turn the radiators down and I've had to reset the timer for it to come on later and go off earlier. This can ONLY be down to the efficiency of my new windows - it's the only thing that has changed since last winter. So for performance, I can report that every claim that was made for them was 100% accurate.

As far as the installation was concerned, again I could not be happier. I let the installers in just as I was going to work and they were gone before I got home at night - job done (five windows). Disruption and mess were kept to an absolute minimum and they took away all the old windows and other rubbish.

So I've been living with these new windows for about 6 months or so and I would not have one second's hesitation in recommending Affordable Windows to anyone. I have had windows fitted in the past in a previous house and at the time was happy with the job that was done - but I'll tell you what, if I'd been familiar with Affordable's work and THEN got the competition to do my later windows, I'd definitely have been less than impressed.

Oh yeah, and finally a quick shoutout for the young sales guy (who's name escapes me, sorry) ... what a nice bloke. Showed up when he said he would , came in, measured up the job, answered any questions we had and was on his way within 40 odd minutes ... no hard sell, just inspired both my wife and me with confidence.

As soon as I'm in a position to get my remaining windows done, I'll not even be bothering with the faffing about getting a few quotes, I'll be straight on the phone to Affordable. .

Having signed up to a big company through a pushy sales rep I was convinced by my family to use the cooling off period and cancel the contract. My son had used affordable Windows and couldn't speak highly enough of them. My son passed on my name and within 24hours they contacted myself and we arranged a home visit. The salesman when he arrived was very nice and no pressure was used at all. Having to pay 10% up front to the big company I was very surprised when I found out there was no up front payment required now, and you only pay affordable Windows on completion.On being happy with the quality product which he brought with him to show I was pleasantly surprised when the price came in a lot cheaper than the big company who was offering 'window scrappage' and big discounts. I signed up that day and I have never looked back. The surveyor when he came to measure was very nice and very professional. When the joiners arrived to start work they were prompt and they worked very tidily and quickly, the attention to detail was second to none. They only took 2 1/2 days to do my full house from start to finish and I couldn't be more delighted. All my friends are commenting on how good the Windows look and the standard of finish.

Delighted with our new windows and front door. The joiners were friendly and no mess was left after the job was done. High quality finish with no disruption to surrounding walls. Excellent company with an excellent service, would highly recommend.

Ten windows in total fitted over one and a half days. Really efficient time keeping and organisation. Couldn't fault the two guys that came to do the work and could trust them completely to nip out and run a few errands and leave them too it.

Excellent value for money and have already recommended affordable windows to friends and family.

No long winded sales pitch or pressure to commit. They even gave us an extra few days for our family friend who is a joiner to check over them before we had to pay any money, no deposit required either.

The windows themselves are a good quality product and you have a choice of colours and finishes. Affordable Windows deliver a quality product at a good value for money price. The installation is done by skilled tradesmen who clean up after they are finished. The aftercare also is followed up to make sure you are happy with the job. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

grass to take their tools and prevent mess in our home they set to work right

away and I realised we had picked a good company to deal with and so we relaxed

and enjoyed how quickly they proceeded with the Installaionw feeling confident

I am delighted with my new windows! I had wanted to get the work done for some time but thought I couldn't afford it. I could hardly believe the low quote I received.
