AGS (Advanced Glazing Systems)

This is a review of AGS (Advanced Glazing Systems Ltd) of Upminster. They are a completely separate company from AGS (Home Improvements Ltd) of Newton Abbot.

AGS of Upminster are excellent in every way.

This is my recent experience. I live in a Victorian house and took quite a while to research and decide between the many methods of window conservation/replacement and variations available from many companies. The director of AGS, John Barnett, spared the time for two lengthy meetings with me and one with my freeholders. Next, John's surveyor Peter visited for 90 minutes, explaining various processes with great care. At no point did I feel at all pressured or rushed.

Finally last week, Gavin and Darren installed three upvc windows. They were punctual, efficient, friendly and polite. They did an excellent job, consulting me on details, leaving barely a mark on the old architraves and tidying up completely.

I live opposite a mainline station. Now the trains seem to fly past almost silently. The price was competitive and sensibly agreed with no meaningless discount/scrappage schemes.
