My experience was really rather poor. The quality of the cameras is sub standard, the image quality is bad, the camera reflects on the dome thing and I cannot see anything at night. I believe that I have been sold the wrong product by Maplins. Customer service from Wefitnationwide is nothing short of shocking. I agree with the other reviews that you call their number, the person who answers can never answer to say what is happening, why the system is so poor. I asked the chap if he worked for wefit, he said no. he works for a company called pinner Lock Centre and they field the calls. This explains why one can never get an answer as to what on earth is going on. I asked for a Director of wefit to call me but this hasnt happened. Chap who came to fit was very pleasant and works as a sub contractor for wefit.

I think CCTV is best left to the professionals and that excludes maplins and wefit as maplins sell poor quality cameras and wefit are unable to provide any support, service or resolution.

I went to Maplins Nottingham and had excellent service booked and installed within 5 days fantastic service CCTV can be really complicated and expensive the whole process only cost me £200

bought cctv and installation from maplins on recommendation of a shop assistant to help protect my home.

phone call, after phone call, after phone call and couldn't get it fitted eventhough i had paid for it at the maplins shop. wefitnatiownide were supposed to fit it but never returned my calls. i called their 0333 number and the call is answered pinni lock centre, thought i had the wrong number, called again and still answered as pinni.

going to see the store manager at the maplins store for a refund and cancel install.

I have now waited for over a week to be contacted by Maplins for them to fit my CCTV that I purchased in Chesterfield. I have called the number on the website many times and I am promised a call back. A chap called "Ray" keeps advising that the Manager is not in but will call back shortly. Never get a call back and emails go unanswered.

I am at a complete loss as to who to contact. I have purchased from Maplins so guess I will have to get my money back off them, otherwise I will have to go to citizens Advice / my local council.

I have had sleepness nights over this and feel as if I had been ripped off, paid over good money and have been tricked.

Bought cctv system from maplin and went to website to get fittid. No one called me back, had to chase and in the end gave up. taking cctv back to maplin. they say they are open 247 but can never speak to any 1. avoid. why are maplin selling such a rubish service? cctv kit looked ok but no chance of gettin fittid. sorry maplin u loose a cuistomer.

My wife recently opened a shop and had been pestering me to get a CCTV camera installed for her. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that they now offer a fitting service through a company called We Fit Nationwide. I filled in my details and they contacted me to arrange an appointment to install. I don't normally leave reviews but I must say that the whole process was very simple and surprisingly reasonable cost wise. They turned up when they said they would and saved me a job I had been dreading without breaking the bank. Good job!

As I work away from home a lot my wife wanted me to install CCTV camera's pointing at the front door and side gate. I found these guys via Maplin and they were brilliant. Their experts arrived the same day that they were called and installed two cameras. Wefitnationwide are great value for money and I would highly recommend the hassle-free service!

The salesman was knowledgable about all their products and he said he now sells more because they offer an installation service through wefit. I must add that this installation was to my 100% complete satisfaction.

To be honest, I am not really a technical person, but I've wanted a CCTV system installed at our house for a while, but have always been put off by the installation as I am not an electrician. I went to a Maplin store in Chesterfield and the very friendly chap talked me through all the different systems and I found one to meet my budget. I was amazed to find that he offered me a fitting service alongside the camera - just the ticket I thought as I didn't want to install it myself. In store the Maplin chap walked me over to a computer and talked me through the benefits of their fitting service with Wefitnationwide.co.uk. There and then in the store I made a booking request for 10 days later. To my amazement, I got a call back in 15 minutes confirming the appointment and then asking me about the system I had purchased. What made it easier is even though their engineers are fully qualified their pricing is fixed and not dependent on the type of system, but the amount of camera's you want installed as part of your system. So simple, even I could understand! As it was a one camera system, I only paid £99, with a £10 deposit upfront. the Wefitnationwide.co.uk electrician turned up 10 minutes before he was supposed to and installed the camera system without any fuss! Marvellous! He even called me back after a week to make sure everything was working and I was still happy. I was very impressed with the service and how cheap it was.
