Wilko Cable Channel / Conduit

In undertaking a renovation of my kitchen I needed to move a few electrical sockets and rectify a few sloppy jobs by previous owners, and in doing so I rquired cable channeling to protect the cables before plastering and tiling.

I went to an electrical wholesaler to price their channeling/conduit which was £3.30 for 2m. I later went to Wilko for other products and found that they sell plastic conduit in 2m lengths for just 49p.

It was a no brainer. I bought what I needed and have found it very easy to work with and easy to cut with cable snips.

I used Wilko 20mm masonry nails to secure to the walls and was pleased to see that the plastic did not split when nailing it.
