I dont normally write anything on these websites but i commissioned these guys on the back of a competitive quote. However they have caused £1500 of damage to a newly laid floor, sought to blame me for the damage which was illogical (if not impossible as i wasnt around when they did the service) and refused to meet to resolve the issue or discuss a solution. They also dont carry insurance.

I had to instruct lawyers to deal with their negligence but after 2 years and a bill close to the current damage, the file has been closed by them.

Am absolutely distraught and i would advise you avoid them

I had thoroughly professional experience at The Basement Sump and Pump Company. From the first minute they picked up my phone call I was treated with care and ultimate attention to customer service. Their engineer arrived 10 min early and was exceptional as he explained in detail everything he was going to do. He finished his service and on time and left the area as if there was no work done to it. I must say it was first class experience by a first class company!

Absolutely Brilliant.

To start - booking the engineer call out was a good experience. Personal, efficient service from a named contact.

The engineer arrived on time, got to work and had the problem fixed in good time. It was a mucky job, but well handled.

It's just a shame the engineer had to come from 250 miles away.
