I first came across PermaroofSouth when i was looking at alternative flat roof systems to run alongside my existing products. I had been asked a number of times from perspective customers about this particular product and was interested about its increased popularity. When i went on PermaroofSouth's website it was very informative and i found out they are a national training centre for becoming an approved Firestone installer which then allowed me to offer a 20yr distributors warranty on the membrane as well as being entered onto a database for any work that they brought in, and in todays climate i am happy to recieve any additional chances of work. I booked up on the course which was run over a day at their Fareham, Hampshire depot and while i was on the phone the member of staff i spoke to was happy to go over all the questions i had and explained the benefits of the system which put my mind at rest that they were more then just a supplier who would be happy to take my money without providing the support and backup that is sometimes needed.

The day itself was a pleasent experience with the instructor being very helpful and informative during the 'hands on' parts and as there was only 6 on the course i felt i had time spent on me rather then just being a number. The course spent time on all the aspects of the system that i might come up against such as corners, pipe work and seam work and i felt confident at the end i could go away and fitit without too many problems. I also recieved a presentation pack with Firestone branding for my website and van, a sample roof to show customers, a penny and silicone roller to take away and even food and drink for the day!!!!

When it came to quote for my first job they staff were helpful in giving me the price for all the materials i needed as well as a guide as to what i should be charging in that area. Needless to say i got the nod from the customer and ordered the items which arrived on a next day delivery just as promised. The staff were always helpful and willing to give their time in helping me where ever i needed it and i would recommend them not just for the great product they sell but also for the excellent customer service they provide.
