Really good prices, customer service and friendly people on the phone. They were thorough and diligent. You can tell a company is great by they way they put things right when things go wrong. I am very happy with Gallant doors and would thoroughly recommend them.

Contacted by phone to order internal doors. Very efficient & polite. Told doors would arrive on a Wednesday 6th Nov. Didn't come. They had been taken to the wrong depot by the courier service employed, which was XDP. Next day, Thursday 7th, still didn't come. In the end on Friday 8th, was supplied with the address of the depot so we could collect ourselves,but Gallant Doors were given the wrong address by XDP. Eventually after 20 mins the correct address was found by ourselves & the courier WE had employed. The depot,(205 Gateshead),was a tip with parcels everywhere. After 25 minutes ours were located. We returned home at 2pm on Friday 8th. After removing old doors the building contractors only managed to put up the framework for the new doors, before having to leave at the end of their working day, & on Monday 11th the contractors start on a new job. So we are left with a gaping hole in our house, furniture piled in an unuseable dining room & spare bedroom, for the unforseeable future. We have had to cancel our family from coming to stay with us over Christmas as there is no where for the parents to sleep, no where for us to eat & it is too dangerouse for 2 small children to be among this building site. All Gallant Doors kept saying was, we should not have hired a joiner until the doors arrived, but we couldn't get them to understand that the joiner was already here as part of the building contractors doing major contruction work, including joinery. Had the doors arrived when arranged the work would have been completed. Gallant Doors refunded the delivery cost of £50, but that was hardly adequate for the distress we have had & still experincing, not to mention the cost we have incurred hiring a van & driver.

So if anyone is thinking of purchasing from Gallant Doors, although you will find them to be very pleasant, check first which couriers they use. If it is XDP. Go elsewhere.
